Willard and Dibs join Steiny and Guru on a Wednesday edition of the Crossover. The guys react to the report that the Warriors are looking into trade options for Kristaps Porzingis.
Transcript
00:00I didn't fight everybody about Pods, and he's out with a pack.
00:05How?
00:05How are you?
00:06Is this what we're gearing up for?
00:09This what we're gearing up for, Stine?
00:11Like, I can't believe it.
00:13I swear I can't.
00:15Pods is not playing 98 straight.
00:19He's played.
00:20And now I'm looking forward to him playing.
00:22He's out.
00:24Game one.
00:26You have to be kidding me.
00:28Dub Nation, it's Brandon Pajemski.
00:30You're listening to Stiney and Guru on 95.7 The Game.
00:33All right, it's time for the crossover brought to you by Bay Alarm.
00:36Rest easy.
00:36We've got you covered.
00:37Bayalarm.com.
00:38Let's welcome in the fellas and Dibs.
00:41And I'll just do a real quick, fast reset.
00:44Atlanta Dream versus Valkyries.
00:47It's a 5 o'clock start in Atlanta.
00:49Game three of the WNBA Finals.
00:50Warriors have their season opener tonight in L.A.
00:54against the Lakers.
00:55Warriors, but the news out of the day is that the ESPN reporting that the Warriors are looking
01:02for a route to trade Chris Dapps Porzingis, who's obviously, or not obviously, but who's
01:08thinking about his health and wondering about his future.
01:11It looks like he's considering maybe not coming back at all.
01:14And so the Warriors have now put out a statement that I'll read because it was just put out
01:21and that'll bring us all up to date.
01:23This is the Warriors statement on Chris Dapps Porzingis.
01:26In response to today's media report regarding Chris Dapps Porzingis, we are not going to
01:32comment on trade speculation or reports regarding his health-related matter or future.
01:37As noted last week, conversations between the Warriors, Chris Dapps, and his representatives
01:42will remain private.
01:44We are not anticipating Chris Dapps will be around the team in the immediate future.
01:50We'll provide additional updates when available and appropriate.
01:53So the second to last, the penultimate sentence to me is the big one, that Chris Dapps is not
01:59even around.
02:00And that means they have no expectation that he's going to play for the foreseeable future.
02:05Welcome, guys.
02:07How are we doing?
02:07And welcome.
02:08And I wonder if it was something that they, like, thought that, you know, whatever, four
02:13months ago when they signed him to that extension that they thought, oh, you know what, it's
02:18going in the right direction.
02:19Maybe he'll be back.
02:20Or if they thought, you know what, we'll sign him knowing that if it goes south that we can
02:25go ahead and trade it.
02:27Hmm.
02:28Well, the other big word in this is media.
02:32In today's media report, that feels like a little bit of a, of a poke.
02:39Like, thanks a lot, Shams.
02:41Like, we're not, I mean, honestly, what, what are the Warriors even supposed, like, we can
02:45talk about what got us here.
02:47And I think that's what'll be, what kind of drives the bus on this.
02:50But what are the Warriors supposed to do on opening night with trade and health rumors?
02:56It's opening night.
02:58Man.
02:59I, and then that's, I, from that perspective, I'm not saying Shams did anything wrong, or
03:03I have no idea how the, the truth of the report or what's going on.
03:07Um, not great timing.
03:09I told Stoney and the listeners that, like, you gotta be kidding me.
03:13Okay, happy opening night.
03:15That's definitely not coming from the dubs with, with that said.
03:18No, the dubs have made it abundantly clear this month.
03:22They do not want to talk about Kristaps Porzingis.
03:26At all.
03:27And what is there to say?
03:28Yeah.
03:30I thought that was relatively odd, dibs.
03:34It, no, it's very odd.
03:35Like, before the year even starts.
03:36And, you know, you got the report where, you know, he's not with the team and he's not
03:39feeling great.
03:40And so all of us are thinking, okay, maybe a week, maybe two.
03:44And, you know, he gets better.
03:45He feels better.
03:46And then he comes back.
03:46So I always think about Willard when this stuff happens.
03:49Like, where would that have come from?
03:51Like, Shams isn't just like, hey, you know what?
03:54I'm just going to go ahead and fire this one off because I feel like it.
03:57But somebody told him at this point where, yeah, they're going to look to trade him.
04:03So who was that?
04:04Is it the Porzingis camp?
04:05I mean, I wouldn't think so.
04:09Other GMs, agents, the buzz, whatever.
04:14I mean, it's probably, it's probably accurate.
04:17It's probably accurate.
04:20What I wonder about, sorry, Stiney, I wonder how surprised are the Warriors?
04:27And I have to think not at all.
04:30But the only thing is I got to believe something changed because a week ago they put out a statement
04:37that he was going to be around the team.
04:39Well, he was in that moment.
04:41Right.
04:41And a week later now he's not.
04:43Well, he's back.
04:44You're talking over.
04:45Maybe.
04:46The symptoms are still there now.
04:47Now you head back home.
04:49So maybe.
04:50But I just, the more I look at this, Steve Kerr signs back and then he makes a statement publicly
04:58that the Warriors need more availability the following year.
05:02They need more people who will play back-to-backs.
05:04And then Mike Dunleavy heads into the offseason and brings back Al Horford, Chris Stapps, Porzingis,
05:10et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
05:12Steph Curry's knee is not perfect.
05:14Jimmy Butler's not getting healthy anytime soon.
05:16Neither is Moses Moody.
05:17Then you roll the dice on Chris Stapps and his health and you sign Al Horford to two years
05:23who's on the other side of his 40th birthday.
05:26That doesn't feel to me like a team that is urgently trying to win.
05:32And I get that.
05:35So, you know, it was two days ago, I think, that Friedle came on this station and called it a
05:40gap year.
05:40See, and oh my gosh.
05:42Shout out to Gap.
05:43I had to get my dinner from there.
05:44But as a fan, that's like just the kryptonite of all kryptonite.
05:48Like, you got Steph Curry.
05:50You got Yaxle.
05:51I'm looking forward.
05:52But that just sounds like or comes across like they don't even believe they have a chance to gap year.
05:58But that's reality.
05:59Yeah.
05:59How many times have the Warriors been like, we'd like to remind you that Jimmy Butler got hurt?
06:06What do you want them to do?
06:10And they can't come out and say, we're moving pieces around the board for 2027.
06:18You can't come out and say that because you're the Warriors.
06:20Before Stoddy goes, if you wanted to get frisky, because I'm like, how?
06:24He got 20 million Porzingis.
06:25He ain't got a plan.
06:26Right.
06:26And you move, if you were willing to move Jimmy Dre, Porzingis, and some picks.
06:31Oh, boy.
06:32Then that could be the deluxe model of what that is.
06:36And Stoddy's like, well, who would want that?
06:38Well, it would have to be a team that is really like looking to like offload what they have, which
06:44is not great.
06:45And, you know, that feels to me a little bit like Sacramento.
06:48So, all right, Zach Levine, you're a Warrior.
06:51And maybe it becomes even like Sabonis, you're a Warrior.
06:54And like, what other team has that much money of like, oh, God, we're not very good.
07:00And we want to get rid of everything we have.
07:02And so, that's not really out there, especially in October.
07:05That part.
07:06Yeah.
07:07And also, you know, he's an expiring contract.
07:13And you're going to, if you want to aggregate it, you know, you can get up to 45 or 50
07:18with Draymond Green.
07:21So, the only real players I think we're talking about are players who have long-term contracts on other teams
07:27who don't like the player and who would love to get off the money.
07:31So, like a team like San Antonio, they probably want to get off De'Aaron Fox.
07:36Okay.
07:36Let's just for the sake, I say he's making 50.
07:39Okay.
07:40Would you trade Draymond Green and Porzingis for De'Aaron Fox?
07:45Okay.
07:45I wouldn't, but I might say, we could start there.
07:50And then I say to San Antonio, look, we're not just saving you $200 million without getting what's fair to
07:59us.
07:59Could you get a pick back from San Antonio?
08:01Now, they're going to be good.
08:03But, you know, that's, or could he get a play?
08:05Could he get, what's his name?
08:06Keldon Johnson.
08:07Keldon Johnson.
08:08Could you get a guy maybe you like who's their seventh man or something like that?
08:12Now, why are the Spurs doing that, though?
08:14In the middle of trying to win a championship.
08:16Because Harper is the real P.
08:18I get that.
08:18He's got four years over 200 million left.
08:21Oh, I get that.
08:21Like, it's a bad contract, but I'm also, I'm trying to win the title this year.
08:26Yeah.
08:26Well.
08:26So, I'm bringing in, what are we getting back?
08:29We're getting Draymond Green and Jimmy Butler.
08:32No, poor Genghis.
08:34Okay.
08:34Right.
08:35So, if I'm the Spurs, I'm like, does that help me right now?
08:39I mean, you saved 200 million.
08:41Right.
08:41And you bring in a guy in Draymond, who's like 27 minutes a night of somebody who can
08:47shut down whoever you want him to shut down.
08:49Yeah.
08:50I pray would help that type team, man.
08:53And you lose De'Aaron Fox.
08:56Who lost in the finals.
08:57Yeah.
08:59I'm sure they're heartbroken.
09:00I'm kind of with Willard on this one.
09:01He was hurt.
09:02Yeah.
09:02He was hurt.
09:02You guys are all remembering literally the moment you saw him last and forgetting everything
09:07else.
09:08Don't act like De'Aaron Fox.
09:09This is a good player.
09:11It's a player that they relied on for a lot of things for an entire year.
09:15And they probably would scoff at this.
09:16Like, yeah, yeah.
09:17And then do that.
09:18And then your guy, Dylan Harper, gets hurt the next night.
09:21Now, what the hell are you doing?
09:22Like, I don't know.
09:23Well, I mean, to me, another big obstacle is, okay, do you want De'Aaron Fox and Steph
09:30Curry under contract together for the Warriors for the next three years?
09:34And they're occupying, you know, it's $120 million.
09:40Let me, let me cut to the chase.
09:42Like, they're not going to get a great player for Porzingis.
09:45No.
09:46I think we all know.
09:47And that's why I said Zach Levine, which is, you know, he's a guy who's making way too
09:51much than, you know, what he deserves.
09:53And, you know, honestly, if you are San Antonio and you want to trade De'Aaron Fox, it's a
09:58little bit risky short term, but long term, it probably makes sense.
10:01But for the Warriors, for me, he's like Jordan Poole plus plus.
10:06He's not Jordan Poole plus.
10:07He's probably Jordan Poole plus plus.
10:09But like you said, Stiney, with Steph, you've got a short guy who can score and another guy
10:16who's even shorter who can score.
10:18And so is that really what you want to do?
10:20Probably not.
10:22And can you make the playoffs in a gap year?
10:24I'm asking.
10:24You're allowed to.
10:27Because that's my goal is just, I would just love to see you make a playoff.
10:30I know it is.
10:31I know it is.
10:31And you said 42 and.
10:3343 and 39.
10:34Yeah, okay.
10:35But I had Porzingis as a baby 24 and 35.
10:40Look, this is, this is, this is the reality of the NBA.
10:44You go out there, you be as good as you can.
10:47Um, at the same time though, like, I think there'd be a fun debate on what qualifies as
10:53everything for Steph.
10:55This has been such a, a motto for the fan base for so long.
10:59Does everything for Steph always mean immediate this year?
11:03However, again, his running mate is out.
11:06I'd put the over on, I would put the over under on games for Jimmy Butler.
11:10If all goes well this year, somewhere between 25 and 30.
11:14So that's wow.
11:15And I'm not my index.
11:15He would bet the over.
11:17I know he would.
11:17Yep.
11:18I know he would.
11:18But remember, this is the Warriors.
11:20So when he comes back, he's not playing all the games.
11:22So even if he comes back for half the year, he's not playing all of them.
11:25So I'm going to put the over under 25 to 30 games.
11:28And sure, if the over hits, that's great.
11:30But even if you, even it goes perfectly, you're not getting half of a season out of Jimmy Butler.
11:35So does everything for Steph mean chips in the table this year?
11:39They just signed him to two more after this year.
11:42When's the next time the Warriors can legitimately field a great roster or even a good one?
11:48It's not this year.
11:50You know what I think the goal is?
11:51What?
11:53They don't want to be a bot.
11:55They don't want to be terrible.
11:57Right.
11:57They don't want to be one of the worst teams in the league.
12:00They probably want to be between four and ten so they have three balls in the lottery.
12:05Because with the new lottery rules, you don't want to be the worst anymore.
12:09Because you get less a ball.
12:12But you don't want to be too good either.
12:13Because you get less.
12:15You want three balls in the lottery.
12:17And that's four through ten, essentially.
12:20With some, you know.
12:22Probably where they're heading.
12:24You would think.
12:26Hey, you're listening to 95.7 The Game, KGMZ FM and HD1 San Francisco and Odyssey Sports Station.
12:30Always live on the free Odyssey app.
12:32Now broadcasting from the Laughing Monk Studios.
12:34You were saying.
12:35No, that's probably where they're heading.
12:37But on the higher end of that window.
12:41Yeah.
12:41It's probably a play-in team again.
12:43I would put them at the lower end of that window.
12:45If it's like four through ten, to me, it feels.
12:48Sorry, that's what I meant by higher.
12:49Higher number.
12:50Oh, yeah.
12:50Yeah, yeah, yeah.
12:51Like a nine or a ten.
12:53Yeah.
12:53That's probably where they're heading.
12:54And if you said 43.
12:56Yeah.
12:56I mean, I would go under 43.
12:59And, I mean, I think that they feel a little bit more like that 38 or 39.
13:04And even at that, like, you know, is Steph going to be able to avoid the, you know, the tendinitis?
13:10And I tuned in this morning at like 10.06.
13:12And you came out like, oh, my God.
13:15Oh, my God, you were hot on Brandon Paid, Paid Jemski.
13:20Yeah.
13:20And I think that's, you should call him that.
13:22And I'm talking to myself as I explain myself, too.
13:25Yeah, I've been a little in the weeds today.
13:27So, I'd love to hear your thoughts on Brandon Paid Jemski.
13:31I like the player.
13:32I've loved the player a lot.
13:34And I've defended him at every turn.
13:36So, it looks like I was going against him when, in all actuality, his availability is something that I use,
13:43like, the Thor as a shield to tell everybody he's available.
13:46And it's just one game.
13:48But what happened this morning, and I didn't know what was going to happen, it was Jimmy being out.
13:53It was Moses.
13:54It was Curry.
13:55We don't know how many he's going to play.
13:57He's going to play back-to-backs.
13:58It was Porzingis.
13:59So, the one thing I knew I had denied at Norms when we sat down and watched the game against
14:04the Lakers was Pods was going to be there to show us his new bag.
14:08He'll be there Friday, most likely.
14:10But somehow, it was really a warrior rant of, I just can't control.
14:15I don't, you know, there's so many holes in the vases in regard to availability.
14:19So, that's where that came.
14:20Can I finish?
14:21Yeah.
14:21And that's where that came from, you know.
14:23So, it wasn't Pods.
14:24It was like I defeated him all summer, and then game won, my man, you're back.
14:30It's gone.
14:30So, that's all.
14:31I didn't know what was coming.
14:32It just happened.
14:33I think we have questions.
14:34Go ahead.
14:35Imagine.
14:36You know, it's so funny, Goode.
14:38It's interesting.
14:39You believe that everybody listens to the show.
14:41Imagine Brandon Pajemski in his car hearing you absolutely lambaste him.
14:47Oh, I did lambaste him.
14:48Yes, you did.
14:48Yes, you did.
14:49And he's the only guy who played every game last year.
14:53I couldn't imagine a player who you could misdirect that toward.
14:58No, it was actually a compliment because if he listens to the show, I'm always defending Pods because I like
15:05Pods.
15:05I think he gets hated on at every turn.
15:07So, subconsciously, him being out, just all the stuff that's going on with the team and, you know, the unknowns
15:15and Porzingis is a part of that.
15:17Steph's knee, it just came out right there at that time.
15:21Well, we all have.
15:21So, I did not lambaste my dudes.
15:24We all have outbursts.
15:25But did you just find out today that Pods was not playing?
15:28Well, that was one of the things I'm like.
15:30He didn't practice the other day, but I told Stoddy he's playing.
15:33They announced it yesterday.
15:34Yeah, but I was.
15:35Okay.
15:35Yeah.
15:36So, that was one.
15:37I kind of.
15:37Did you get.
15:38I was under the assumption.
15:42I was under the assumption that he was going to be in the store.
16:09There was a compliment that I'm going to miss Pods, but he took an Indian lambaste in them.
16:14There was some roar, but it wasn't at Pods.
16:16There was a lot of roar, and you did lambaste him.
16:19And, Stiney, man, I wish you actually listened to our show.
16:23Thank you, Will.
16:24Because yesterday, when the news came out, I made a Costanza wallet reference because Pajemski, I'm sorry, paid Jemski's wallet
16:34now is so thick that he must have sat on his wallet with $110 million in it.
16:41And that's what caused him to have a hurt back.
16:42You don't get it until next year, right?
16:43Or you could die.
16:44There's another joke about that.
16:46Somebody made this about Bob Costas, I remember.
16:50Friend of the program.
16:50What's Pods listed at?
16:52What was he listed at coming into the league height-wise?
16:546'3".
16:55Oh, yeah.
16:55He's already up to 6'6".
16:57When he stands on his wallet.
16:59It's not bad.
17:01It's not bad.
17:01My thing was that his back got hurt because he sat on the wallet with Costanza, and I was trying
17:06to run it by the pups in the back.
17:09And, of course, Grandy, who was like 30 going on 78.
17:13He got it.
17:14He had the ass, though.
17:16That's not that crazy.
17:16Whatever.
17:17Your boy Rizoto is like, oh, my God, Big Bang Theory.
17:20That's an old show.
17:22It was a question.
17:24I've seen Seinfeld.
17:25Grandy was like, was that Seinfeld?
17:27It was a question.
17:29You weren't sure.
17:30But he nailed it.
17:31Yeah.
17:31What the hell else would Costanza mean?
17:34Like, what the hell else does that mean?
17:35Will, let me ask you two this before we get out of here.
17:38Ask Stiney.
17:38With a gun to your head.
17:40Oh.
17:40I hate that.
17:41I mean, shout out the Titans guy.
17:45Believe me.
17:46Okay.
17:46Jesus Christ.
17:48Did you hear Robert Sala speak on that today?
17:50No.
17:50Okay, I don't want to derail you.
17:52I almost want to stop what I got to say.
17:53It was pretty great.
17:55But go ahead.
17:55What number would you be comfortable with putting on the award if you had to do a number?
18:00I said 43.
18:01Yeah, wins.
18:03He doesn't do this.
18:04He doesn't like this.
18:06It makes him uncomfortable.
18:07It doesn't make me uncomfortable.
18:09Well, and Stiney, you teased it.
18:10Did you ever deliver?
18:11No, he did not.
18:12So this is tough.
18:12Buck, buck, buck, buck, buck, buck, buck.
18:14What would you like?
18:15Put it out there, Steinmetz.
18:18It's kind of like that higher or lower game they used to play on Price is Right or whatever
18:23the hell it was.
18:23Yes.
18:24Or the show.
18:24Yeah.
18:25But rest in peace, at least temporarily.
18:28Oh, yeah.
18:2943, I'll go lower.
18:30Okay.
18:31But I don't know how to even assess.
18:35Who's on the team?
18:36That's where the outburst came from.
18:38Oh, that just manifested.
18:40You know what I mean?
18:41The actual number is 38 and a half.
18:43Oh.
18:43So lower.
18:44Wasn't in the 40s.
18:45Lower.
18:46Whoa.
18:47Lower.
18:49Man.
18:50Where you at, Stiney?
18:53I see both sides.
18:54Let me do my Stiney.
18:55I see both sides.
18:57You see both sides of the number 38 and a half?
18:59I mean, I see both sides.
19:00I mean, if Stiney...
19:02But, okay.
19:04But in a lot of ways, I'm going to make my prediction in a similar way that I did for
19:09the Niners.
19:10You know, I think, you know, they're elder, healthy, you know...
19:12You said 9 and 8.
19:14Higher.
19:14I think 9 and 8 or 10 and 7.
19:17At the summit, you said 9 and 8.
19:19So, yeah.
19:20I like your chances.
19:21I assumed at that point, you know, somebody's going to get hurt.
19:25It's just not going to...
19:26Not going to...
19:27Everything's not going to lock in.
19:29So, you know, they're going to probably win more than that.
19:32I kind of feel the same way about the Warriors, even though it looks like, you know, I'm off
19:35to a bad start with the Niners.
19:37It's like, hey, that's too much needs to go right.
19:41And a bunch of those things are already confirmed to not go right.
19:45I would...
19:47I'd probably put it about 36 now.
19:49Wow.
19:50However, and here's the part, there are not a few things happening away from less than
19:59that.
20:00If...
20:00I'll get you there.
20:02But what I am optimistic...
20:04Well, not optimistic, but what I do also allow for is the fact that we're allowed to be
20:09pleasantly surprised.
20:11We're allowed for Yaxl Lendeborg to...
20:13Go ahead.
20:14Wow.
20:14We got a little something here.
20:16We're allowed to see Steph Curry look like he looked a couple years ago and relatively,
20:21you know, productive and healthy.
20:23I think Yaxl has a strong, strong chance to win Rookie of the Year.
20:27Man.
20:28He's going to have a huge runway.
20:30Opportunity is there.
20:31I mean, my God.
20:32The load management that's going to be happening around him.
20:34The guy's going to...
20:35His goal of 16 points?
20:37Stop it, dude.
20:38You better score 24.
20:41And...
20:42But that doesn't usually lead to winning, Brad.
20:43I got you.
20:44You know what I mean?
20:44So, what if I did it this way, Gu?
20:47Like, how many teams in the West do you feel comfortable that the Warriors are better than?
20:51So, you can find the number by doing, like, the slot math.
20:56Slot the Warriors in and then tell me what does that team usually win in a year.
21:01So, how many teams in the West, if I read them all...
21:03All right, go ahead.
21:04I got it up right now.
21:05Spurs.
21:06Right?
21:07Thunder.
21:09Nuggets.
21:10Rockets.
21:11Check.
21:12You think they're better than the Rockets?
21:13No, no, no.
21:14Okay, so, like, just check the teams that the Warriors are better than.
21:18All right.
21:18Okay, Lakers.
21:20Timberwolves.
21:22Mavericks.
21:25Possible.
21:25Possible.
21:26Not to me.
21:26Possible.
21:27Phoenix Suns.
21:29Possible.
21:30Clippers.
21:32Maybe.
21:33Possible.
21:34Utah.
21:35That's my...
21:37Dibs loves them.
21:38Okay, I'm going to say no.
21:38I mean, he thinks they're going to win the whole thing.
21:40Not what I said.
21:41I know it isn't.
21:42Portland.
21:42That's a misrepresentation.
21:44Disrepresentation sensation is what that is.
21:46And that's a buck.
21:46Portland, though.
21:47Portland's better than the Warriors, right?
21:48Yes.
21:49Okay.
21:49To me.
21:50Memphis.
21:51And the Warriors are better.
21:52All right, so...
21:53And Sacramento, Warriors are better.
21:54And Sacramento.
21:55So, I think we got two teams that we all firmly agree they're better than, and three
21:59maybe.
22:00Yeah.
22:01Clippers, Jazz, and...
22:02Okay, so that means, let's say that we're positive on all the maybes.
22:07And they're better than the Pelicans.
22:08Yeah.
22:09Pelicans, sorry, I left them out.
22:10Yeah, sure.
22:10So, if they're better than all of those teams, even the maybes, that puts them in either nine
22:15or ten.
22:16Where I don't want them to be.
22:18If they're better than all of the maybes, they're nine or ten, and we know that nine
22:24or ten is usually somewhere in that neighborhood of 36 to 42 wins, right?
22:31Which is right exactly where Vegas stuck them.
22:34And you had them at where?
22:36I have them at probably 38 wins, and right now I'm looking at FanDuel and the odds to
22:42be the eighth seed, it's Phoenix, it's Portland, then Utah and Golden State.
22:48They're all kind of in that same group, so I think that is where you're looking at, you
22:53know, the fight for the eight, and, you know, somebody might be higher than that, and you
22:56might be right in there, and there's so many variables, and unlike the Niners where, you
23:01know, you talked about nine and eight at the Summit, Stiney, and I'm definitely going
23:05to remember that and, you know, make sure that you, you know, have that attached to
23:09you, but like the variables of the Warriors, it's like Steph's knee, and now we know that
23:15Chris Stapps is, what, not going to play maybe ever, and it's going to be a long time.
23:21Right, and Jimmy and Moses, and I don't know, it feels to me like the Warriors variables are
23:27much more already toward the negative than the Niners.
23:30Oh, no doubt.
23:31There's no doubt about it.
23:34But I was going to say one more thing before walking out of here about the variables of
23:39the Niners.
23:39Take your time, there's no rush.
23:41Nine and eight.
23:42Yeah, yeah.
23:44What was it?
23:44It felt like it was something about Steph when he mentioned his knee.
23:48No.
23:49No.
23:50Are the Valkyries going to be able to win this thing?
23:52Oh, my gosh.
23:52This is wild, man.
23:54Well, they got it.
23:56Did you hear what I said?
23:57No, I missed it.
23:58The Valkyries?
23:58I heard you yelling at pods, and I turned it off.
24:01The Valkyries?
24:02Have to do to Angel Reese in Game 3 what the dream did to Gabby Williams in Game 2.
24:11Which is?
24:12Like, turn her into a volume player.
24:15Make her less efficient.
24:16Chip away at her.
24:18Ah.
24:19Don't let her, like, Gabby Williams in Game 1 was the best player on the floor.
24:23They got to neutralize Angel Reese somehow.
24:26It's a big game.
24:27And Joe Lagom will be there.
24:29Nice.
24:29We're having some fun out of where it would be.
24:31I would hope so.
24:32The question is, is like, does he fly back for Friday's game against the Warriors?
24:36Then does he get on his plane and fly back to Atlanta for the afternoon game?
24:39If he's about that life, he sure as hell does.
24:41And he's about that life, Will.
24:42If he's about that life.
24:44What other life's he got?
24:45I mean, doesn't his plane get to Atlanta in about eight minutes?
24:51That I don't know.
24:52Yeah.
24:52All right, Chance, have a great one.
24:54Oh, by the way, remember what I was going to say.
24:56Bet the under.
24:57Sorry.
24:57Remember what I was going to say.
24:58You've got a little show coming up.
24:59There was a lot of doom and gloom.
25:01You know, this last five, ten minutes was like, yeah, oh boy, they're in trouble.
25:04They're in trouble.
25:04Oh, boy.
25:05Keep in mind, when you take the season game by game, what if we're coming in here tomorrow
25:11saying, Yax Lendenborg is good.
25:13We might.
25:14Exactly.
25:14He is good.
25:16On 95.7, the game.
