00:00Best Centrifuge Tube Racks Under $5 For Busy Labs
00:04Ok, if your bench is drowning in loose tubes and you're tired of knocking over that one flimsy rack, this
00:09one's for you.
00:10I went digging and found the best centrifuge tube racks under 5 bucks for Busy Labs, real ones, thousands of
00:16sales, ratings that actually hold up.
00:195 picks, cheap to pricey, and one I'd buy twice.
00:23Let's get into it.
00:24First up, the big one, 100 sockets for 1.5ml tubes, and it comes with a cover.
00:31That cover is the hole point.
00:33Load it, snap it shut, carry it across the lab without a single tube popping out.
00:39Over 4,000 sold, 4.4 stars, 5.15.
00:43If you're prepping batches and moving them around, this is the one that saves you a cleanup.
00:48Number 2 is the Workhorse
00:5160 holes, double-sided, takes 0.5ml on one face and 1.5ml on the other, flip it and you've
00:58got a different rack.
00:59Two racks in one piece of plastic.
01:024,000 sold, flawless 5-star rating, 4.83.
01:07For a shared bench where everyone runs different tube sizes, this is the no-brainer.
01:12Third one is the Flexible option, and yeah, it tips just over 5 at 6 a 1, but hear me
01:17out.
01:18It comes in 24, 32, 60, or 96 holes, reversible, double-sided, handles 0.5, 1.5, and 2 milliliters.
01:28You pick the config your bench actually needs.
01:315 stars, 3,500 sold.
01:34Worth the extra dollar if you want one rack that fits everything.
01:39Fourth is for the big tubes, the 10, 15, and 50 milliliters crowd.
01:4450 sockets, 2 layers, so it stays stable when you've got tall 50 milliliters tubes standing in it.
01:50That's the thing cheap racks get wrong.
01:53This one doesn't wobble.
01:555 stars, 3,300 sold, 5.52.
01:59If you spin larger volumes, buy this before you buy anything else.
02:04Links to all 5 are in the description below, I'd grab the 60-hole one and the 96-hole while
02:09they're this cheap.
02:10If this saved you some scrolling, hit like and subscribe, and I'll keep finding the gear that's actually worth your
