00:00On your knees!
00:02My dear father, it's barely morning. What are you so angry about?
00:08My lord, please! Tariq's always been this way. You know him.
00:14You've booked the entire Fathom Music Hall!
00:17If the steward hadn't told me, I'd never have known Samara was covering your debts again!
00:21Three northern armies are outside our walls, and you're still wasting money on parties.
00:26Do you care about this family's honor at all?
00:28My lord, blame me. Tariq's weak, just like his mother, and he won't even work on his bond with his
00:35djinn.
00:37After he lost her so young, I couldn't bear to be hard on him. I spoiled him!
00:41Mother, stop making excuses for him!
00:44He's just as weak and useless as that bitch who'd born him.
00:47A fatted with no jild power is only fit to herd camels.
00:51Rahid's right! If you had even a tenth of his jild power, I wouldn't see you as a disgrace to
00:57this family!
00:57My lord, please calm down. Tariq can't help being who he is. I'll make sure he's properly disciplined.
01:10Father, my bond with my jild has grown much stronger. Could you give me some pointers?
01:17If you had half Rashid's ability, I wouldn't see you as a disgrace.
01:24You useless brat. At the tournament, you'll watch me win the princess's hand.
01:28You're not even fit to kneel down and clean the sand off my boots.
01:34Samira, sixteen years of playing the loving mother, aren't you tired?
01:39Mother, wake up! Don't leave me!
01:43From now on, I'm your mother. I'll take care of you.
01:50Mother, did you kill Tariq's mother?
01:55As long as she was alive, Tariq was a threat to your claim.
01:58Then why let him live?
02:00That bitch is dead. If I go after Tariq too, your father will suspect me.
02:04So I'll spoil him until he's useless. Then he'll never take your place as heir. Understand?
02:10Samira's the Grand Vizzer's favorite daughter. Father won't believe me if I tell him she killed Mother.
02:15Mother, I have to wait for my chance. Mother, I promise I'll make her pay.
02:21Mother, one day I'll make her pay myself.
