00:40The Department for the Interior and Local Government and the Philippine National Police set a deadline of one week
00:45for International Criminal Court suspect Sen. Bato De La Rosa to surrender.
00:50Sen. Bato mistook my gesture of negotiation as a sign of weakness.
00:56It's time for the gloves to come off.
01:00It's time to bring justice to his victims.
01:04Rimulya also announces a 50 million peso reward for those who can help in De La Rosa's arrest.
01:09The Interior Chief also described De La Rosa as armed and dangerous.
01:12We have given him all the courtesy that could be afforded as Senator of the Republic of the Philippines.
01:20But he has shown nothing but cowardice by going into and remaining in hiding.
01:27In November last year, the ICC pre-trial Chamber 1 issued a warrant against De La Rosa for his role
01:33in former President Rodrigo Duterte's drug war.
01:35He was Duterte's first PNP chief who implemented the anti-drug campaign, which human rights organizations said took the lives
01:42of nearly 30,000 people.
01:46Davao City First District Representative Paulo Duterte files a cyber libel complaint against officials and journalists of GMA Network.
01:53This over the network's report about bribery claims by former policeman Rodolfo Gracioso Jr.
01:59In his eight-page affidavit, Gracioso claimed he had delivered massive amounts of cash in suitcases to Sarah Duterte when
02:06she was still mayor of Davao City.
02:08He also claimed allegedly delivering money to Representative Duterte.
02:12Representative Duterte filed the complaint with the Davao City Prosecutor's Office on Friday, October 23.
02:18Named at the complaint are NBI Director Melvin Matibag, Gracioso, GMA Chairman Felipe Gozon, President Gilberto Duavit Jr., several network
02:26anchors, a reporter, and production staff.
02:31GMA Network says it has yet to receive a copy of the complaint.
02:35The legal action is still at the complaint level, where prosecutors will assess if the complaint has sufficient evidence.
02:41In September, Sarah Duterte said,
02:43Once we are done dismantling the lies contained in his testimony, it will end up in the trash bin, just
02:48like the one from Ramil Madriaga.
02:52Civil Society Group People's Budget Coalition raises red flags during the Senate Finance Committee hearing on the proposed 2027 budget
03:00of the Department of Agriculture.
03:02At the center of the group's report are farm-to-market and irrigation projects.
03:05Following the flood control scandal, the DA launched a portal for farm-to-market projects to monitor the standard and
03:12completion of farm-to-market roads worth millions of pesos.
03:16But the PBC flags 15 billion peso worth of farm-to-market and irrigation projects that do not have publicly
03:23posted project attachments.
03:25The group alleges these projects are insertions made in the House of Representatives.
03:29The PBC co-convener Kenneth Abante says the House inserted 355 farm-to-market projects not originally included in the
03:37National Expenditure Program and the DA's proposal.
03:40The group also flags wrong coordinates of some farm-to-market projects, according to citizen-led mapping of 18,000
03:47projects in the House's General Appropriations Bill.
03:49Abante says a 23 million peso farm-to-market project in Nueva Ecija had coordinates that point to the sea
03:56near Benham Rise, while a project that is supposed to be in Cebu appeared in Celebes Sea.
04:01Coordinates of a 55 million peso project also appeared in the waters near Brunei.
04:05The group also points out costs that were allegedly way over the market price.
04:10The DA took over farm-to-market projects from the Department of Public Works and Highways after the latter faced
04:16public scrutiny over allegations of massive corruption.
04:21Companies and governments worldwide rushed on Thursday, October 22, to patch critical flaws in the widely-used PHP programming language.
04:29This as a cybersecurity company reported millions of hacking attempts after the vulnerabilities were disclosed.
04:35The push came after governments worldwide took websites offline as a precaution on Wednesday, while website operators scrambled to secure
04:43systems running the software.
04:44The emergency shutdowns of banking, airline, rail, tax, and government services from Tokyo to Helsinki showed how much public and
04:53corporate systems rely on the software.
04:55PHP developers released urgent fixes on Wednesday for vulnerabilities that had lurked in the software for years until they were
05:02uncovered using AI, urging users to update immediately.
05:07Alex Ayala bows out of the Ningbo Open after conceding to 6th seed Deanna Schneider, 5-6, 4-6.
05:14Ayala had looked to secure a back-to-back win at the Ningbo Open after defeating Frances Deanne Parry in
05:20straight sets in the round of 32 game on October 19.
05:24Roshas Schneider had referred to the Filipina tennis ace as a big hitter she knew would be challenging to beat.
05:29After defeating Ayala, Schneider secures her spot in the last 8 and faces the USS Iva Jovic in the quarterfinals
05:36of the Ningbo Open.
05:38Ayala had previously made an early exit at the Wuhan Open after absorbing a loss from world number 177, Shihan
05:45of China.
05:46Ayala is currently ranked world number 20.
