00:00There's more to making muffins than you think.
00:02I've got three hacks to up your muffin making game.
00:04First up, no liner, no problem.
00:06Nine out of 10 times when I go to make muffins or cupcakes,
00:09I do not have muffin liners,
00:11but I do have parchment paper and that's all you need.
00:13Take a square piece of parchment about five or six inches
00:16and then fold it into quarters.
00:18Unfold it and then you're gonna take some scissors
00:20and cut down each side.
00:21You wanna cut almost all the way to the center.
00:23Then place the piece of parchment over the muffin cup
00:25and press down with another smaller cup or shot glass.
00:28Now it's ready for your batter.
00:30Like I said, no liner, no problem.
00:32Simply take your prepared batter
00:33and scoop it into your muffin cups,
00:35then pop them in the freezer.
00:37Then when the time comes,
00:37you can bake off one, two, or however many muffins you want.
00:40Then you've got hot baked muffins at the ready.
00:42And the final hack is the best way to eat a muffin.
00:44The only bad thing about muffins
00:45is they do dry out pretty quickly.
00:47So the best way to eat them is to take your muffin,
00:50cut it in half and cook it in some butter.
00:52Okay, twist my arm.
00:54This makes sense to me because the butter's not just sitting
00:56on top of the muffin,
00:57it's all the way through.
00:59You can tell the muffin cooked in butter
01:00is gonna be a whole lot more moist
01:01than the one that sat out.
01:05These little hacks make your muffins magical.
