01:04just a few weeks away. Election Day is today. It's tomorrow. It's over the weekend. Election Day
01:08ends on November 3rd and Donald Trump's presidency as we know it ends on November 3rd. As long as we

01:17our job. As long as we do our job. You know, it's interesting just listening to Mike listening
01:25as though it is remarkable. I don't know if you just saw what Donald Trump's DOJ did directed by
01:30the President of the United States up there in Alaska. This just happened a few hours ago.
01:37They said they will not certify the outcome of the election in the United States Senate race unless
01:43their Republican candidate wins. That just happened. That just happened. This guy's not screwing around.
01:53The right is ruthless. You know that. You had Jody up here. You had others up here talking about the
02:00fact they're putting us back to a pre-1960s world. Putting America in reverse. Women's rights, LGBTQ rights,
02:08civil rights, voting rights, rights regression. These guys are ruthless. It is all on the line
02:19this November. This is it, guys. No dress rehearsal. If you think we're overstating it,
02:25I'll remind you what happened a year ago when we had Proposition 50 on the ballot. The morning of the
02:30election, Donald Trump sent out BORTAC teams. These are the Border Patrol tactical units. The Apache
02:36helicopters. They were sent out there right in front of Dodger Stadium to chill free expression,
02:43to chill free speech. He tweeted out that morning on True Social. He said the election was rigged. He
02:49sent out Department of Justice monitors to prove the election was rigged. When we kicked out the campaign
03:00for Proposition 50, many of you were there, Zoe and others, no one will forget, at the Campaign for
03:06Democracy at Little Tokyo, the sacred site where we were interning the Japanese at the Democracy Center,
03:13a thousand faith leaders, a thousand labor leaders, a thousand community leaders all showed up, but there
03:18was a chill in the air. People wondering, what's going on? They said, you don't know? They said, look outside.
03:25I said,
03:25what's going on outside? Who are these people with masks? What are those unmarked cars? And who's that
03:32guy in front of all the reporters dressed up as he just got off the set of a Burbank studio
03:39dressed up
03:40in 1930s garb? A guy by the name of Greg Bovino. We said at the time that was a preview
03:49of things to come.
03:51These guys are not screwing around, and nor can we. It is all on the line this November 3rd. It's
04:01all on the
04:02line. It is.
04:08And let me just remind you, and I'm not going to go on too long, so don't worry. But this
04:14is the 250th
04:15anniversary. This is the 250th anniversary of the best of the Roman Republic, the breast of Greek
04:23democracy, co-equal branches of government, popular sovereignty, and I heard it a moment ago, the rule
04:34of law, not the rule of dawn. And I hope it's dawned on everybody. Our founding fathers did not live
04:44and
04:44die to see Mike Johnson in a supine Congress. They did not live and die to see the vandalism of
04:50truth
04:50and trust. They did not live and die to see this republic go the way that Donald Trump wants to
04:58go.
04:59So all of us need to be held to a higher level of expectation, a higher level of accountability,
05:05and none of us in the spirit of Prop 50 can run the 90-yard dash. Everything we have done
05:13to get us
05:14to this point is unbelievable. You're unbelievable. But it won't mean anything unless we run through
05:24the tape. We have to be at peak. It's a 110-yard dash through election day. The future is not
05:31something
05:31to experience. It's something to manifest. It's inside of every single one of you. It's decisions,
05:39not conditions, that will determine the fate and future of San Francisco, our state and nation,
05:44and the world we're trying to build. So LIUNA, SCIU, to ABU, to all the members of the public,
05:51thank you for everything you've done, and thank you what you're going to do to save this republic
