00:46meme coin lost $4.8 billion. I'm talking about a trade and terror policy where he establishes
00:54in Vietnam, 46% tariffs. But all of a sudden, those tariffs get reduced to 20% after Eric
01:01joins the Prime Minister of Vietnam and they announce approval of the golf course. Or the
01:0739% tariffs in Switzerland and the CEO of Rolex comes in with a Rolex watch, a gold watch with
01:1545 and 47 on it. And no sooner did that happen that the tariffs dropped from 39% to 15%.

01:23talking about grift and corruption, the likes of which we have never seen in the history
01:29of this country. It is about accountability and it's about time we have a co-equal branch
01:36of government. That's why Derek is so important. That's why you're so important. And that's
01:42why it is critical that all of us get out there not just to vote, but make sure anyone that's
01:47on the fence that doesn't understand how precious this moment is and why our founding fathers lived

03:21They said they will not certify the outcome of the election in the United States Senate race unless their Republican
03:28candidate wins.
03:30That just happened. That just happened. This guy's not screwing around. The right is ruthless. You know that. You had
03:42Jody up here. You had others up here talking about the fact they're putting us back to a pre-1960s
03:47world. Putting America in reverse.
03:49Women's rights. Women's rights. LGBTQ rights. Civil rights. Voting rights. Rights regression. These guys are ruthless. It is all on
04:02the line this November. This is it, guys. No dress rehearsal. You think we're overstating it?
04:09Yes. I'll remind you what happened a year ago when we had Proposition 50 on the ballot. The morning of
04:14the election, Donald Trump sent out BORTAC teams. These are the Border Patrol tactical units. The Apache helicopters.
04:21They were sent out there right in front of Dodger Stadium to chill free expression, to chill free speech. He
04:30tweeted out that morning on True Social. He said the election was rigged. He sent out Department of Justice monitors
04:36to prove the election was rigged.
04:41When we kicked out the campaign for Proposition 50. Many of you were there, Zoe and others. No one will
04:48forget. At the campaign for democracy at Little Tokyo, the sacred site where we were interning the Japanese at the
04:55Democracy Center, a thousand faith leaders, a thousand labor leaders, a thousand community leaders all showed up, but there was
05:02a chill in the air. People wondering, what's going on? They said, you don't know? They said, look outside.
05:09I said, what's going on outside? Who are these people with masks? What are those unmarked cars? And who's that
05:16guy in front of all the reporters dressed up as he just got off the set of a Burbank studio
05:23dressed up in 1930s garb? A guy by the name of Greg Bovino.

05:31We said at the time that was a preview of things to come. These guys are not screwing around and
05:39nor can we. It is all on the line this November 3rd. It's all on the line. It is.
05:52And let me just remind you, and I'm not going to go on too long, so don't worry. But this
05:58is the 250th anniversary.
06:01This is the 250th anniversary of the best of the Roman Republic, the best of Greek democracy, co-equal branches
06:11of government, popular sovereignty, and I heard it a moment ago, the rule of law.
06:20Not the rule of law. Not the rule of law. And I hope it's done on everybody. Our founding fathers
06:27did not live and die to see Mike Johnson in a supine Congress.
06:31They did not live and die to see the vandalism of truth and trust. They did not live and die
06:37to see this republic go the way that Donald Trump wants to go.
06:43So all of us need to be held to a higher level of expectation, a higher level of accountability, and
06:50none of us, in the spirit of Prop 50, can run the 90-yard dash.
06:56Everything we have done to get us to this point is unbelievable. You're unbelievable. But it won't mean anything unless
07:06we run through the tape. We have to be at peak. It's 110-yard dash through Election Day.
07:14The future is not something to experience. It's something to manifest. It's inside of every single one of you. It's
07:22decisions, not conditions, that will determine the fate and future of San Francisco, our state and nation, and the world
07:29we're trying to build.
07:30So, LIUNA, SCIU, to ABU, to all the members of the public, thank you for everything you've done, and thank
07:37you for what you're going to do to save this republic over the course of the next 11 days.
