Seven Sages and Demons

Luo Hou, a celestial deity who lost all his cultivation power because of Sun Wukong, took on the guise of "Wu Xiang" (the Formless One) and wreaked havoc in the human realm, only to be sealed away—along with his own primordial spirit—by the Seven Great Sages. To prevent Wu Xiang’s return, a youth named You Xi set out to find the other six Great Sages, hoping to break the seal and liberate Sun Wukong, who had been imprisoned alongside Wu Xiang. However, his efforts inadvertently led to Wu Xiang’s release. In the end, You Xi transformed himself into the Golden-Hooped Staff (Ruyi Jingu Bang) and, joining forces with the Seven Great Sages, succeeded in destroying Wu Xiang.
