00:00And big news coming in amid the Jamia Graffiti Rao.
00:03The Jawaharlal Nehru University unit of the Akhil Bharati Vidyati Parishat
00:08has raised objections to slogans such as Free Umar Khalid and Long Live Naksal Badi
00:14being written on the walls of the university campus.
00:18Now, ABVP has alleged that left-wing student organizations are attempting to disrupt the academic environment on the campus.
00:26Now, according to ABVP, photographs that have surfaced indicate that ISA activists were involved in objectionable writing
00:34alongside a portrait of Veer Savadkar as well as writing political slogans on the campus walls.
00:42Joining us now is India Today's Anmol Bali.
00:45Anmol, what are the accusations that the ABVP is making?
00:49And has there been any action taken as far as the graffiti is concerned?
00:56Graffiti Rao, we are seeing that. Another graffiti was in GARF, the Jawaharlal Nehru University,
01:01where we have seen that a few graffiti pictures have been shared by Akhil Bharati Vidyati Parishat,
01:06where they have accused the ISA of defacing Savarkar's photo and defacing the walls of the Jawaharlal Nehru University.
01:13We have seen the graffities where they have written Free Umar Khalid and Long Live Naksal Badi
01:17have been shown by the Akhil Bharati Vidyati Parishat,
01:20where they are accusing the left organization and like ISA,
01:23they are kind of disrupting the academic atmosphere in the campus.
01:27And we have seen that a few days ago, same kind of news came from Jamia Mili Islamiyah,
01:31where a protest is going on Anjali.
01:33And there also we have seen that Free Sharjil Imam and Free Kashmir graffities were seen.
01:39And we have also seen that university administration has condemned the act.
01:42And now we are seeing that this same kind of incident is taking place in Jawaharlal Nehru University.
01:48We are awaiting university's administration's reply on this incident.
01:51But on the other hand, the APVP is accusing the left organization of defacing the walls inside the campus.
01:57Right. Thank you very much, Anmol, for all those details.
