01:03and snaps his fingers.
01:06Tony's cut scene mirrors this one from Infinity War,
01:09where Thanos finds adopted daughter, Gamora,
01:11as a child in the void created
01:13by the Infinity Stones universe-ripping power.
01:16For the excise sequence,
01:17Morgan Stark was suddenly aged up
01:20to be played by 13 Reasons Why star,
01:22Katherine Langford.
01:23But early test screening audiences
01:26were confused by the new face,
01:28the emotional impact didn't land,
01:29and it was ultimately snapped out of existence.
01:32Well done.
01:33Other options for scripted scenes
01:35that were shot and cut mostly come
01:37from the 45-minute battle royale
01:39between the extended Avengers and the forces of Thanos.
01:42Some of the undusted characters
01:44had a quick reunion-slash-strategy talk
01:46in the trenches, but screenwriter Stephen McFeely
01:49said the scene was, quote,
01:50completely fake, and they gave it the ax.
01:56That scene may end up on the home release's
01:59deleted scenes, along with a funny final moment
02:01that was mostly improvised between Thor and Valkyrie.

02:10and awkward hilarity ensues.
