00:37own plans and was unwilling to share a platform with UMNO. BN chairman Zahid Hamidi previously
00:43announced plans to contest 21 of Melaka's 28 seats, leaving seven for PAS and its allies.
00:50However, PAS Secretary General Takiuddin Hassan maintained that seat negotiations were ongoing,
00:57despite both parties agreeing to cooperate. BN has named Paya Rumpur incumbent Rais Yassin
