00:55we're going to be looking this review at the maniac cop 2 officer cordell a big thank you to the

01:00over at tots that provided this sample trick-or-treat studios does have a pre-order right now for the
01:04scream greats maniac cop 2 officer cordell it's right now currently over on their site with an
01:08estimated ship date november 28th 2026 for how tall though the figure's going to stand of course i don't
01:15have a nightstick nor with a hidden blade but what i do have though is my trusty tape measure cordell
01:20seems to clock in around eight inches he seems to also measure around 20 centimeters tall i wouldn't
01:26be the least bit surprised while he's patrolling his bee he's going to come across a couple of clowns
01:30let's bring those clowns in right now here's what the figure looks like with the scream greats killer
01:34clowns i've just selected two of them for right now speaking of also clowns probably up to no good
01:38here's also what the figure looks like with the terrifiers art the clown and somebody that knows a
01:42little bit about walking the streets at night here's also what he looks like with the 1978
01:46michael myers i wondered first why they chose maniac cop 2 as opposed to the original might
01:51have maybe something to do with licensing the figure though of cardell does come include with
01:55a swappable hand the thing about his hand though and you'll notice with this figure he actually
02:00already has his keys inside his grip on this side so i immediately thought that the extra hand that he
02:05was going to come included with was in fact going to be a swapped out version for the one that
02:09he has
02:10over here and yet though it's not this hand that he comes included with and in fact actually
02:15belongs on this side already which is weird because really when you're looking at the two
02:20hands they're not that much different really from one another sure enough though this hand would be
02:24fine for holding his nightstick the problem comes though is when he ends up holding his firearms
02:29this hand though unfortunately isn't going to fit now speaking of which though the figure does
02:34come included with first a couple of guns he comes included first with his revolver a revolver does
02:40look nice it's very well painted it can also be holstered on the side of matt's leg unfortunately
02:46though going back to this hand however it does not fit this hand now one thing i thought was there
02:52might be a way to kind of cut this finger away from the thumb because i think that's the only
02:56thing
02:57that would be preventing really these fingers being stretched out of course it would involve a little
03:01slicing it would also involve dipping this in a hot water bath just to soften up the plastic with that
03:06in
03:06mind though there might be a way to work the hand to hold the gun because right now the hand
03:12is only
03:12really about the same size as what would be normally holding the nightstick either way though like i said
03:17he does come in clear with the revolver the revolver we can go ahead just move his arm out of
03:21the way
03:21can be holstered nicely here on the side of his leg now there is a strap the strap does not
03:28seem like
03:29it fits completely all the way around so it's gonna stick just a little further past that
03:33but still though there's a place to store his gun let's just bring his arm down right now
03:38probably not a good idea that the gun the hand is so close to the gun but we're just gonna
03:42hope that
03:42matt's not interested in seeking revenge on us the figure does also come in clear with the gun that
03:46we see in maniac cop 2 i think he actually goes through the precinct mowing down the cot
03:54he also comes in clear with that as well still to go back to the hand unfortunately it really doesn't
03:59fit the handle of the gun so again you might just need to like i said what i said earlier
04:05though you
04:05might just need to cut maybe the thumb away from the finger pry the four fingers away from the palm
04:10and again rinse and repeat the steps the same way that we were going to do with the revolver the
04:14same
04:14thing we may have to do with him actually holding the gun he does also like i said come included
04:19with
04:19his nightstick now like much like in the movie the nightstick can be drawn out a blade so you don't
04:25have
04:25to really make the noise while you're doing that again the blade looks good it's not soft plastic
04:31but at least it's that kind of plastic where you wouldn't have to worry necessarily it's going to
04:34break when you're doing what i'm doing right now not really sure really why you can be doing what
04:38i'm doing right now this uh as i already had showed you guys fits into the hand perfectly fine so
04:44i mean
04:44like this hand holds fine the handle and again you can also take this hand here and easily slide the
04:50stick into that so that's not necessarily a problem but again i'm wondering though why they chose not
04:56to include maybe two extra hands one hand to go on this side that's holding the keys because he's
05:01always going to be holding the keys and then a secondary hand to be put over here that could be
05:05holding his firearms that said though it doesn't look like the keys can be removed they're actually
05:13i don't wouldn't want to really say necessarily that they're glued inside the hand but there really
05:18doesn't seem to be a way that you'd probably be able to remove it and even if then you were
05:21to
05:21remove it look how small that hole would be anyways so it would never really work with the guns
05:26anyways so let's go ahead and remove the nightstick we'll put that off to the side the one last thing
05:31that comes included with cardell is an alternate swappable head sculpt now between you and me and
05:37whoever else is watching this review thank you for those that are i actually honestly like this head
05:42sculpt more but i do actually like that at least trick-or-treat studios gave us an alternate
05:47portrait that's a little bit more scarred now again to swap out the head sculpts both of them
05:54by the way do come include with their their caps so you don't have to worry about changing those
05:58we're only just gonna actually you know what let me just remove the gun we'll put it off to the
06:02side
06:02here for a second to remove though the face i guess first of all we do want to show you
06:06guys what
06:06the face looks like now i can only hope sorry not to say that so loudly i can only hope
06:12now with
06:13the trend of maybe doing a revenging cops i hope at some point at some point we're also going to
06:18be
06:18getting a scream greats psycho cop psycho cop maniac cop and psycho cop imagine having both of them on
06:25your shelf anyways though to change the head out just easily pop that off the ball joint take the
06:30new head that we want to use and pop it in place now speaking of things that were dipped in
06:35hot water
06:36what i ended up actually having to heat the head a little bit in hot water so it was a
06:39lot easier to
06:40attach it back onto the ball joint so again like you get two really good head sculpts
06:45i wouldn't at all say that they've done a bad job sculpting either i would still lean i feel more
06:50closer towards you displaying the figure with this head but i think both heads are exceptionally
06:54sculpted well this one also benefits from having a little bit more of a paint a darker paint added to
06:59the face the caps don't seem too different from one another there's not much that's changed there
07:04this one also does have by the way no hair on the back of his head this one does have
07:08hair on the back
07:08of his head i feel like also this feels a little bit more like maniac cop one a cardell where
07:15this
07:15would probably be a little bit more maniac maniac cop cop two cardell or after he's been set on fire
07:21for the rest of the figure's body with generally scream grades there's not going to be a whole lot
07:25of posability for these in fact really when it comes to matt he has posability only really in his arms
07:30his hands his head again we'll kind of talk more about that in a moment detail though for the figure

07:35there's a lot of bulk to this plastic picking him up he feels extremely heavy of course some really
07:41nice wrinkles that they've sculpted into the jacket that he wears of course still being dead i mean him
07:46and really robocop two cops that even after being dead still felt the need to go to work man does
07:51that
07:51ever suck but at least though i mean they've put the badge still on him really nicely painted in their
07:56snaps for the top flap of his of his jacket of course he's got a little zipper there on the
08:00front
08:00as well it's a really really neat looking designed figure i again never thought this time would ever
08:05come that i get a chance to talk about a maniac cop figure wasn't really a big fan of maniac
08:09cop
08:09three i did like though the first two but yeah overall it's a really good looking figure the only
08:15one thing i would have said is i really wish they could have included some secondary hands one yeah
08:19hand is good but the only problem with that though is that the hand doesn't seem that much different
08:23really than the hand he already had getting him out of the plastic prison for cardell's articulation
08:28his head's going to be on a ball joint whether again you want to use this head sculpt with more
08:31the scarred face more the scarred face but either way both of them are actually on a ball joint and
08:37they move their heads pretty well sometimes though i notice especially with this head it does pop off
08:43periodically grabbing the head just here for a second it does sometimes pop off the ball joints
08:49maybe i didn't heat this up nearly enough in hot water we'll just pop it back in place head moves
08:53up and down though back and forth there is unfortunately no articulation at all for the waste
08:59i really feel like when you need to go in and start collecting screen grades with i really would
09:02highly recommend that you do the fact that they are though plucking not i wouldn't necessarily say
09:08obscure characters i would feel like if anything psycho cop would be a little bit more of a
09:12obscure character than maniac cop would maniac cop be considered more mainstream than psycho
09:17you can let me know down below in the comment section but generally though when you are picking up
09:21screen grades expect really good sculpting really good paint they do unfortunately have a little
09:26less in the way of possibility so again he only has the ball joint here for the head hinges though
09:31in
09:32his arms so he can still pull off a t-pose maybe a little less than a t-pose and
09:37again the arms rotate
09:38all the way around this hand while holding the keys does rotate back and forth this hand on the
09:43other side does the same he has no waist articulation he has no foot articulation either so he's essentially
09:49a staction figure other than really just again the shoulders the hands and the heads that gives us
09:54what five points of articulation it's a really good looking figure let's go ahead and get his
09:58nightstick in his hand the only one other thing i would say too is with the pose that they've got

10:03in you do feel like you're kind of balancing him every once in a while where he does lean a
10:07little
10:07further forward but again like you could always technically also use a display stand just attach that
10:13on the bottom of the figure's feet maniac cop yes we are having this conversation about maniac cop and
10:18boy oh boy what a great looking figure this guy is screen greats series three not just does officer
10:24cardell but they've also done the leprechaun as well we will be looking at him in an upcoming review
10:28one last time one last time maybe to come across i wouldn't want to say the criminals but certainly
10:33other killers on the street here's also again what the figure looks like with you know terrafires
10:37art the clown michael myers from the 78 film he scales really well also too if you're a big fan

10:42maniac cop one in this case maniac cop two or even again like maniac cop three not really my
10:48personal favorite great looking figure great looking sculpt decent looking paint nice job from
10:53trick-or-treat studios i was finally able to get cardell to hold his guns i ended up just doing
10:59what
10:59i mentioned in the review the thumb is really the only thing that's in the way it connects to the
11:03pointer finger so if you can get very carefully in there with a sharp knife cut the plastic that connects
11:07the thumb to the pointer then submerged the hand in hot water and while it was actually hot i took
11:13not a screwdriver but about something that size so it would keep the grip wide enough while the
11:18plastic was cooling down once that was all cooled down he holds both guns perfectly fine the gun from
11:24maniac cop two that he goes through the precinct with mowing down the cops and also the revolver both
11:30of the other included accessories outside of his nightstick so yes in fact cardell can hold all of his
11:35weapons while still doing it only on one side of the figure's body because again like the other hand
11:40is always going to be with keys doesn't bother me at all either that the figure does always have
11:44keys he's always either carrying around his nightstick or he's carrying around his keys
11:48cardell right now is a pre-order over on trick-or-treat studios website he's looking to start shipping

12:01fan of maniac cop the fact that even again i mentioned this in the review that we are having
12:06a conversation about matt cardell as a maniac cop to plastic figure and only trick-or-treat studios
12:13could have delivered that they've done a lot of the deep cuts no pun intended with other screen
12:18grades that you'd always say to yourself if ever there could be a company that would release a figure
12:22of this character which again like if you tell your friends that are only maybe on the surface of
12:26watching horror movies and they'd be like who is mark matt cardell and then you just have to realize
12:31you'd have to pick better friends but yeah the fact that they did a maniac cops it is two but
12:36i guess
12:36they probably maybe had done two because again the licensing or maybe they just for the accessories
12:40that they wanted to include with the figure great looking figure great looking deep cut especially
12:45you're a fan of the classic trilogy a big fan of a big thank you again to the folks over
