Mayor of London opens newly pedestrianized stretch of Oxford Street

Mayor of London Sadiq Khan walks on a newly pedestrianized stretch of Oxford Street, the UK capital's premier shopping street. "I want to be supporting our shops in Oxford Street, and having a kilometer worth of this street, almost half of this street, traffic-free forever, means more space, it's safer," says Khan. "And in advance of Christmas, I want people to come here and shop and enjoy the experience."
