00:00Brazil's President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has pulled off a dramatic comeback,
00:06beating right-wing Senator Flavio Bolsonaro to win a fourth term.
00:11Lula won by more than 4 million votes after narrowly losing the first round of the vote earlier this month.
00:17However, Bolsonaro has refused to concede.
00:21Lula received 51.79% of the ballots, while Bolsonaro 48.21%.
00:28No candidate achieved 50% in the first round of voting on October 4.
00:33In the first round, Bolsonaro, the son of far-right former President Jair Bolsonaro, won 47% of the vote
00:40to Lula's 45%.
00:42The runoff on Sunday was not without controversy.
00:46A last-minute decision to extend voting hours sparked accusations of election interference.
00:52Flavio Bolsonaro says that his legal team will seek to have the election null.
00:58However, analysts say that with 4.4 million votes ahead of Bolsonaro, the chances of this happening are remote.
01:06Lula is already the longest-serving president in Brazil's modern history,
01:11serving two terms from 2003 to 2010 before returning to office in 2023.
