00:00What are you expecting from Tanner McKee tonight?
00:03Well, it's going to be tough.
00:04It's going to be tough for Tanner McKee.
00:06You can like Tanner McKee as a player and acknowledge this is a hard situation for him.
00:10He's got no Devontae Smith tonight.
00:12He has no Dontavian Wicks tonight, which means he's looking at wide receiver one is a first-year rookie player
00:19in Makai Lemon who's gotten off to a slow start in his career.
00:22Wide receiver two is going to be Darius Cooper, who was undrafted a year ago, has kind of made a
00:28name for himself.
00:29But still an undrafted player who struggles to crack into the depth chart.
00:33And then wide receiver three will be a combination of Elijah Moore and Hollywood Brown.
00:39Now, you do have the return of Saquon Barkley.
00:41And I think Tanner McKee's success tonight will ride on the shoulders of Saquon Barkley.
00:46This is a Dallas defense, Dan, that's given up 165-plus rushing yards in five of their six games this
00:54year.
00:54And an Eagles rushing attack that has not rushed the ball well at all.
00:58Now, they've had offensive line concerns.
01:00They've had offensive line injuries.
01:02It looks like Landon Dickerson and Drew Kendall will both return to the lineup tonight.
01:07Will they be able to run the ball?
01:09I think Tanner McKee is hoping they can, my friend.
01:12So dope.
01:13Sean Mannion, how big of a night is it for him?
01:16Because a lot of question marks on his offense this year.
01:19It's been one of the worst offenses in pro football, Z.
01:22And, man, he needs a big night tonight.
01:25No doubt about it.
01:26No doubt about it.
01:27And, again, I say the same thing about him that I just said about Tanner McKee,
01:30where at the end of the day, a coach is only as good as his players.
01:34You'll hear all the best coaches say that.
01:36But considering they are 29th or lower in almost every major category on the offense this year,
01:43my co-host on Birds 365, John McMullen, has been using the analogy from Goodfellas.
01:50Now, I won't say the word, but if you pay me, in this case, it's if you win, right?
01:56There is no excuses.
01:57There is nothing to skate away from.
01:59Sean Mannion has to be better for this football team.
02:02The offense has to perform better.
02:04There was a report this week, Dan, that Sean Mannion changed the setup,
02:09and they watched a collective 40 guys on the offense watched over 90 minutes of film together
02:16instead of splitting up into position groups.
02:19What does that mean?
02:21I don't really know if that means anything, if it does anything to improve the offense.
02:26But he knows he has to be better.
02:28That's, at the very least, what that told me.
02:31Is Nick Sirianni coaching for his job?
02:34A guy with a 670 win percentage, he's fifth all-time in NFL history.
02:38In your opinion, Z, you think he's coaching for his job?
02:44I think he is.
02:45I think he is.
02:46I think maybe some of the built-in excuses, I put that word in quotations,
02:51that they have this year because of the injuries could help save him.
02:54But I think he is coaching for his job.
02:57You've got to remember the history with this coach as well.
02:59First off, it's an owner who moves quickly,
03:01who moved on from a Super Bowl-winning head coach in Doug Peterson just a few years after,
03:07moved on from a quarterback in Carson Wentz and shifted to Jalen Hurd to Nick Sirianni.
03:12And this is a coach, the current coach, was almost fired in the year they won the Super Bowl.
03:17You know, that wasn't widely reported.
03:18But at 2-2 in the bye week, the owner was thinking about canning the coach.
03:24And that's how I believe the owner thinks of him.
03:26So I think the leash is short.
03:28Does he buy himself some time with the injuries?
03:31Potentially.
03:32But I think he's coaching for his job right now for sure.
