00:09With Halloween approaching on Saturday, New York dogs have already put their best paws
00:14forward at the 36th annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade.
00:19Costumed canines and their owners filled the East Village on October 17th, marching
00:25along Avenue B toward Tompkins Square Park in a celebration of creativity and companionship.
00:32Attendees describe the parade as a chance to showcase their creativity, celebrate their
00:37pets and bring joy and camaraderie to the city.
00:45I brought two of my Greyhounds.
00:47One of them dressed up as an Allegra giant box and another Greyhound dressed up as a tissue
00:53box.
00:54Hopefully you will never knew it.
00:57It's actually full of DIY.
01:00This is a very special New York City tradition mainly because all the dogs of New York are
01:07here showcasing their parents' talents and they look very cute.
01:17The event began in Manhattan's first dog run and now includes a costume contest and a festival
01:23block for participants and spectators.
01:28is a unique place for whenever they see an animal
