00:00The moment the lamp falls into Jaffer's hands, he pushes Aladdin down into the cave to kill him.
00:04Abu tries to stop Jaffer, but Jaffer throws him down into the cave as well.
00:07Both Aladdin and Abu begin falling toward the lava below.
00:10But just in time, the magical carpet arrives and saves their lives.
00:14The cave's entrance closes forever.
00:16Above, Jaffer suddenly realizes that the magical lamp is no longer with him.
00:19He is shocked.
00:20Before falling, Abu had secretly stolen the lamp from Jaffer.
00:23Aladdin thanks the magical carpet for saving their lives.
00:26As Aladdin rubs the lamp, a blue, smoky figure comes out of it.
00:29He introduces himself as Genie.
00:31Genie tells Aladdin that he can make three wishes.
00:33But all of this goes right over Aladdin's head.
00:35He still doesn't understand what Genie is saying.
00:37So Genie tries to explain in his own style, through dancing, singing, and dramatic gestures.
00:42He explains that Aladdin must rub the lamp, and then make a wish.
00:45That's it.
00:45But he is allowed only three wishes, without rubbing the lamp again.
00:48Aladdin accidentally makes his first wish, to get out of the cave.
00:51For Genie, this task is extremely easy.
00:53With a snap of his fingers, he takes everyone out of the cave.
00:56To relax, Genie sets up a tent in the desert.
00:58And arranges food and drinks for everyone.
