Thousands celebrate in Belgrade after Serbia’s student-backed movement scores a landmark election victory, ending Aleksandar Vucic’s long dominance of the country’s politics. Drone footage captures massive crowds, fireworks, flags and emotional celebrations in the Serbian capital. The movement emerged from anti-corruption protests following the deadly Novi Sad railway station canopy collapse in 2024, which killed 16 people. Supporters hail the result as a victory for youth, accountability and political change.
