00:00I guess I'm just the worst. And I'm sorry that I'm not perfect. Would you stop it? Cut that shit
00:05out. It is incredibly childish. What you are doing when those things come out of your mouth,
00:10she brings some stuff to you. She's got some feedback. She's got a concern, something that
00:14she wants to talk about. She puts it on the table and then you hit her with that little
00:17victim-y boyhood. I'm sorry. I'm not perfect. You make it about you. She wants to talk about
00:24something she's concerned about. You made it about you. And so now she's in this space of
00:28feeling dismissed, feeling like you deflected away from the thing that she wants to talk
00:31about. And she feels like she is talking to a child when she brought something to her husband
00:35who she assumed was a man, an adult, a grownup. It is uncomfortable to get critiqued. That's
00:43just a fact. And I understand that your wife knows you better than anyone else. So you might
00:48perceive her opinion and her feedback to probably be pretty accurate. And that stings when she
00:52says, you're not giving me enough time and attention. I feel lonely in this marriage. Or
00:57she feels like you're not doing enough around the home. She feels like she's on her own in
01:01terms of parenting and partnership. She brings those things to you. It is uncomfortable. Of
01:06course it is. But getting into this weird little, sorry, I'm not, it's just, it's immature. And
01:12she sees that and immediately she feels like you don't give a shit and she's less attracted
01:17to you all at the same time. Stop it. Listen to her. Try to take the feedback in. There's probably
01:24something in there you can use, but otherwise just listen. That's all you got to do.
