00:02Rollball is a combination of basketball, handball and roller skating.
00:08My name is Satya Veronica. I'm a rollball player.
00:12I do skating for fun and I play rollball professionally.
00:16I started playing tennis back in St. Cecilia Misihu and I was quite good in the sport.
00:22I managed to represent Kenya in the East African Championships in Arusha in Tanzania.
00:29Because it's next to tennis in Jekuat, it caught my eye.
00:32I've already learned how to skate. Why not try this sport?
00:35And I actually became so good in the sport.
00:38I think it's just probably talent or let's say training because I used to train a lot.
00:45I used to train a lot up to around midnight.
00:47So I became so good in the sport and by the time I was in Tadiya, I was already in
00:52the national team.
00:53And I was so happy to be part of contributing a lot for the team because the game of the
00:59semifinals
00:59was the one who scored the two goals that led us to the finals.
01:03And it was a comeback because we were already losing that match 1-0 to 4-0.
01:08It was a very nice experience and then it was a chance for the coaches to trust in me
01:14and to put me actually in the next World Cup.
01:19I thought national team is all about you have worked hard.
01:23So you are going to zip your harvest with the national team.
01:27When you become an elite player, you actually realize how bad our systems are.
01:33We are a good team. You guys have already frustrated us.
01:37So we are just going to show you what we are capable of.
01:40Anyway, the league is going to represent you and your team.
01:41I'm so happy!
01:41I'm so happy!
01:42It's very powerful.
01:42You guys have a great day!
01:42We have a great day!
