Bill Fay — Bill Fay 1970 (UK, Psychedelic/Folk Rock)

The self-titled debut album by this British artist. Bill Fay was born in London, where he still resides today. His first single, "Screams In The Ears / Some Good Advice," was released on the Deram label in 1967. Fay went on to release two more records on Deram, after which the label ended their partnership, as the releases had failed to generate a profit—with no prospect of doing so in the future. Fay did not record for a long time, returning to the studio only in the late 1970s to record a third album, which would not see the light of day until decades later.
