00:28Thank you for watching.
00:31well wrestling fans it is our top three matches of the night all featuring a block competition
00:36for super junior tag league 2026 and we welcome now to ringside two men who undefeated
00:43streak
00:44was ended just yesterday in corkman hall robbie x and taiji shimori will enter
00:48This contest on four
00:49points and i'm being joined right here by former super junior tag league winner francesco akira
00:56welcome to the booth frankie yeah welcome it's been a while right yes it has
01:08look here i gotta tell you a lot has happened
01:13since the last time you and i have spoken on the english broadcast that'll been what a year ago
01:18i
01:18mean there had a lot of changes in united empire but there's a lot we got to talk about
01:22tonight
01:22oh i know i know there's a lot of mess we're about to talk about
01:54hmm
01:56as a day set in the tournament
02:05the fourth day of the Tour 2 is going so fast
02:09yeah I mean the schedule has been just as fast
02:11As the action has been inside the ring
02:13Francesco and right now it is at Master Wato and Kukai
02:17who are on the losing side of the playing field
02:19two points on the board..on the bubble of elimination
02:22if Wato and Kukai lose this match
02:26Super Tune New Tag Lease has ended.
02:29Ko Shichuen in his younger days, ultimately winning the game.
02:32Mohige Kukai

03:04fer masa middle key and Kyukakigar
03:10But Loki I looks similar
03:14Tomar's Choice
03:16This is my first time doing this by hand, and I'm going to load the camping gear.
03:20I'm good at camping,
03:24I can always be conscious of what I've decided.
03:28There is also,
03:32I'll get it right, and I'll be working on our design too.
03:34From here on out, it's going to be a tougher fight against Sprickle.
03:40It's precious, fun, and good, but
03:44I have you here, we gotta talk about it.
03:47It's been a lot of infighting I'd say.
03:49I mean, you left in Japan, you came back just a couple months down the line
03:53after competing in the US with Will Ospreay.
03:55A couple new members of United Empire added to AEW, come back.
03:59All of a sudden there's all this issue, this blow up, what's going on?
04:03I mean, obviously there's been issues since the beginning of the year.
04:07We saw a New Year's dash.
04:08You know, I understand, to be fair, I understand both points, Will's point and Callum's point.
04:16And when I went to AEW, I got my loyalty question by Callum.
04:21That really pissed me off.
04:22And we saw a real Goku, then things were even worse.
04:26Because right now, they're definitely not on the same page.
04:30And we saw people left during the big stage comment.
04:34And only me and Aaron, only me and Inaris stayed with Ospreay.
04:39So there's definitely a fraction in the group.
04:41And you know, we can really feel the friction and the division in United Empire.
04:46It's not just between Callum Newman and Will Ospreay.
04:48As we saw over the course of the Junior Tag League, you and Jacob Austin Young haven't exactly seen
04:52eye to eye.
04:53No, because he chose to stay on the other side, he chose to stay on Callum's side.
04:58You know, he's been, of course, Callum is the guy that brought him in the United Empire.
05:04But he forgot that Ospreay is the guy that brought me in.
05:08So I will always, you know, be loyal to Will.
05:11You know, I really have to appreciate that loyalty.
05:13We always appreciate where that comes from.
05:15But as we're talking about it here, Nassawato and Kukai trying to build a
05:21little bit of loyalty with one another.
05:22These two men had never even shared a ring with one another up until the start of this tournament.
05:27So to even have two points on the board right now is a bit impressive.
05:30But they have to win this matchup to stay alive in the Junior Tag League.
05:35I mean, they're kicking the shit out of Robby.
05:38You're right.
05:41And Taiji Ishimori, meanwhile, this is a man that I know you're gonna have a close
05:45eye on.
05:45Of course, I know you're gonna be making the trip over to Arena Mexico, November 16th.
05:49The strong Openweight Tag Team titles will be on the line.
05:52You'll be teaming with Templario.
05:53Yes, and that finally will be my first time teaming with Templario as a tag team.
05:59So I'm really excited.
06:00And to be on Lucha Kingdom, Arena Mexico, definitely coming back with some gold because
06:05I felt like that could help the United Empire situation bring back some gold.
06:12There's no doubt about it.
06:14I mean, you know, I was talking about it on the broadcast with Chris Charlton just yesterday.
06:18It almost felt like the only way Calum Newman and Will Ospreay were gonna be able to
06:22get on the same page
06:23is if they had some sort of success like winning the tag titles November 3rd in Hiroshima.
06:27But, you know, I was thinking the same thing for maybe you and Jacob.
06:29If you guys started getting a bit more of a role, could you guys mend things together?
06:33I mean, you're right.
06:35You're on point.
06:35I think that could change.
06:37That could change things.
06:38You know, we all have our problems.
06:42We all look to the bigger picture.
06:44Gold making more money.
06:46Right.
06:46You know, making the group more famous and more awesome.
06:52Yeah, talk about awesome right here.
06:54Tai Chi Shimori for the cover here.
06:56Off the moonsault from Robbie X.
06:57It's a count of two.
07:01You know, let me ask you this.
07:02Are you, you're competing over in block B.
07:05I know you're focused on the action and happening over there.
07:07But, are you watching the matches happening in block A?
07:09Are you scouting?
07:10Hey, we could be facing one of these teams in the finals.
07:13Yeah, I mean, I watched yesterday main event.
07:15And, yes, you, the red boy can fly.
07:18I mean, he was put in a difficult spot.
07:22You know, Despe got hurt.
07:23And, he was right put in directly into the main event scene.
07:27And, that's a very tough for him.
07:29But, so far, he's been delivering.
07:33Obviously, he has a lot to learn, a lot to know about Tag Team Wrestling.
07:37But, he's literally in the ring with a legend like Mystico.
07:41Right.
07:42So, I mean, he's doing well.
07:45And, yesterday, he got his first two points.
07:48It's like, of course, Mystico took the win.
07:51But it's a tag team.
07:52Right.
07:52And, both win.
07:54That is, Mystico and Masa Todoyasu, of course, who defeated Taiji Ishimori and
07:58Robby X.
07:59Ending their undefeated streak in the tournament.
08:01They went 2-0 in their early matches.
08:03And, then, all of a sudden, it was not unbound company's night before yesterday.
08:08But, we, I'm definitely not underestimating Robby and Ishimori team.
08:12I faced them before at Korokan.
08:15They were definitely great together.
08:17And, they were really in 5.
08:21No, I think you're right about that, Akira.
08:23I mean, these two are Super Junior Tag League finalists.
08:26Of course, you and TJP won that tournament back in 2023.
08:29So, you know what it's like to have to make it all the way to that point.
08:33They made it to the finals just last year.
08:35They were cheated out of the finals by House of Torture, Doki, and Sho.
08:41There's a moonsault from Robby X.
08:43And, there's a cover for a 2 on Master Watto.
08:46So, still not gonna be enough.
08:47They'll score the victory.
08:51You know, when we get to these stages, Akira, in the tournament,
08:54where, if you lose a match, you're out of the tournament, you're done.
08:57I mean, the pressure starts to build for guys like Watto and Kuka.
09:00Oh, 100%.And, I think, like, Watto has the point to prove this year.
09:03He hasn't been dying very much.
09:06Of course, he reached the semi-final.
09:07But, you know, coming back from injury, like, a couple years ago,
09:11he was meant to be the ace of this division after winning Super Junior.
09:16But then, I think things are not really working for him.
09:19So, who knows?
09:21Maybe him and Kukai will be a good team or will be another breakup.
09:25A painful breakup for him.
09:28You have to imagine the pressure for Kukai.
09:31I mean, a man who only has shown up a couple of times recently in junior heavyweight tournaments.
09:35I think he really wants to find a way to solidify his place on the new Japan roster,
09:39Become a full-time junior heavyweight.
09:41And, I think a victory alongside Watto would make that happen.
09:43And, like, if he keeps coming back means that he's showing something.
09:50But, I probably think he wants to be here all the time.
09:53And, the victory of this tournament could be the key to be here.
10:03RobbieX and Taiji Ishimori, one of the greatest teams that you are going to find
10:08in the modern-day junior heavyweight division.
10:10And, it is Ishimori, ooh, trying to charge in on Watto.
10:13Watto tilts a world backbreaker, plants down X, and delivers one to Ishimori as
10:18Well.
10:19WATTO! WATTO! WATTO!
10:21WATTO able to turn this one around in a split second.
10:24And, you look to the red corner right now, Akira.
10:26You know that Kukai wants that tag.
10:28Let's see, let's see what Kukai is all about.
10:33I think I wrestled him a couple of years ago, maybe, with T.O.
10:37When he was stealing for the first time with T.O.
10:39Oh, yeah, you're right.
10:42And, look at Kukai.
10:43Let's see what he can do here.
10:44Kra's body takes down RobbieX and is trying to put the pedal to the metal.
10:48You can definitely see the Mexican influence in his wrestling.
10:54Trained down at Michinoku Pro Wrestling here in Japan.
10:57Took his own excursion down to the Mexican Independence scene.
11:01And now, return with a vengeance to the Japanese wrestling landscape.
11:05Watch it.
11:06Wow!
11:07Beautifully executed.
11:09RobbieX goes outside.
11:10Tied to Ishimori.
11:11Taken down with a dropkick by Kukai.
11:16Kukai so great in striking and combination.
11:19And that's what we just saw there.
11:21Ishimori is flattened down.
11:28Kukai and Watto have something deeper to fight for tonight.
11:31On the bubble of elimination.
11:33They lose this one.
11:34They're done.
11:35And Ishimori is trying to end the streak for Watto and Kukai going forward.
11:41Oh, this is a dangerous spot for Kukai.
11:43Oh!
11:45How the hell does he do these 40 plus years?
11:48It's incredible, isn't it?
11:50Superstar style from Taiji Ishimori, 43 years of age.
11:55Makes it look so easy.
11:57Let's see if RobbyX can manage to do something for himself.
12:01As a tag to Xtreme RobbyX.
12:04Of course, Robby and Ishimori just ahead of this tournament.
12:07Akira, they fell in challenges to Yo for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight title.
12:13Just back to back with one another.
12:14And you know that that's going to allow them to kind of focus a little bit more
12:18On the Junior Tag Team division now that they've had their shot at Yo.
12:23Wait a minute.
12:25Oh, man.
12:27That uppercut from the top there from Watto.
12:30And Kukai working in tandem tonight.
12:33Oh, we're about to see some high-fly Hasha-Woga.
12:38It's the name of the game.
12:39Super Junior Tag League.
12:41And here we go.
12:42Through the skies.
12:45And Ibaraki.
12:57Master Watto and Kukai flying all around this ring.
13:01But they have to try and score.
13:03A three-count victory or a submission.
13:06Anything that puts the points on the board.
13:09And you know, if Kukai does well enough, he might be put into Hontai as well.
13:14You know, that might be his theme.
13:17Yeah, that's a great point to make.
13:18I think Kukai would be a very good fit for Hontai in its current state.
13:24Of course, the absence of El Desperado for a long time is certainly going to be felt in
13:28the Junior Heavyweight division.
13:32Very shocking to see he's so saddened too.
13:35Oh, wait a minute.
13:36TTD and a moonsault from Kukai.
13:40It's over.
13:41We can see it.
13:42No, still not enough on Robby X.
13:45I thought it was over.
13:49Master Watto, that Tenzan Tombstone driver.
13:53And you look at Robby X right now.
13:55He's feeling the pain on that left shoulder here.
14:00Of course, that drive on the neck going to affect the shoulder has been badly damaged on X for the
14:05last few months.
14:08Let's see if Kukai can try and take the advantage on it.
14:11Scooped up.
14:13Wow.
14:15Look at this, working as a duo.
14:16One, two.
14:18Broken up there by Ishimori.
14:44This team of Watto and Kukai are doing a hell of a job for this being their
14:49First tour this year.
14:49First time ever even sharing a ring with one another.
14:52I would never thought they were like, you know, the first time because they're working really well together.
14:56Maybe he finally finds his partner.
14:59Oh!
15:02Kukai takes down Watto and a cutter from Robby X.
15:09Man, that might be the moment here where everything changes for this team.
15:14Kukai and Watto down.
15:16Here's the cover.
15:17Oh!
15:17And it's two.
15:18Some waste, some precious seconds wasted there by Robby.
15:23Of course, because he was hurt.
15:26That could have damaged him.
15:26No, no, no, no.
15:27If he pinned before.
15:28Come on!
