00:00The Wiz have now played five games.
00:02Do you know what that correlates to in an NFL season?
00:05Week one.
00:07Because they play so many damn games.
00:09I think for DeBonsa, you are correct in that our expectations are high,
00:16and in game one, I think he met or even surpassed those expectations.
00:21He looked explosive offensively.
00:24But that's what makes it so exciting is that, unfortunately,
00:28we have seen over the years where, in the NBA, sometimes you draft a project.
00:32Sometimes you draft a guy that, in three years, you hope is a star.
00:36Sometimes you draft a guy that proves to be a bust, right?
00:39Like, those things happen.
00:40One game, small sample, A.J. looks like the real deal right away,
00:45and that's what you wanted.
00:46Yeah, you want that.
00:47The number one picks in the NBA hit more than the number one picks in other sports.
00:53Totally.
00:53You know, I just think that a guy that can actually handle the ball
00:56and play like A.J. played is going to be able to take that to the next level.
01:00Now, some guys who don't play in the competition, you know,
01:04they may not be able to do it because once you get to the NBA,
01:06you've got to be at your best all the time.
01:08Sure.
01:09And you listen to people talk about him and how he works and things like that.
01:14He didn't seem to be.
01:16When he got drafted, some guys are like, ooh, yeah, I made it.
01:20He felt like, let's go.
01:22Now it's time to work.
01:22And I think that's the mindset that guys have to have.
