00:00¿Qué tan raro hay que ser para ser fan de Rasmus?
00:30A long time ago, that word was like an insult, something that people would call me when I was just
00:35trying to be myself.
00:36I was hurt back then, but I always kept my style, I never changed my ways.
00:40And now after 30 years of being a weirdo, I'm actually proud of it.
00:44And so we wanted to bring back that word in a positive light, kind of celebrate the fact that we
00:49are all unique and different.
00:51You said in an interview that the Rasmus almost broke up.
00:54What happened and what made two stay together?
00:57Before Empu joined us, like four or five years ago, previous guy, Paoli, he left the band and I thought
01:02it was the end of the Rasmus.
01:03And I was really sad and I was going through really like mentally hard times processing that.
01:08And then I was just Googling and then Empu's picture came and we were impressed by her skills and her
01:14personality and she's just fucking amazing.
01:17I was a teenager in 2000, so I have to ask for In The Shadows.
01:20Do you still love that song or do you sometimes get tired of it?
01:23We don't get tired of it. It's kind of a fun song because it's like a little bit bouncy, you
01:29can almost kind of dance to it.
01:30It's a special, unique. I'm really proud of it. Because of that song, we are still able to continue doing
01:36this.
01:36It's been hard to top that after In The Shadows came. Being a musician to make a living with music
01:42is hard.
01:44But we have In The Shadows was kind of giving us this artistic freedom to do what the hell we
01:50want.
01:50Thank you for your music. Thank you for playing your songs from these 25, 20 years.
01:56Thank you.
01:56Thank you.
01:58so much.
