00:07I don't know about you, but I don't like spending a lot of time doing my makeup.
00:10Today I'm going to show you a super simple smokey eye in just two steps with two products.
00:15So the two products I'm going to be using today are a creamy black eyeliner and a shimmery black gold
00:21shadow.
00:22So your first step is you're going to want to take your black cold pencil
00:25and you're going to cover your lid closest to your lash line.
00:30Don't worry about it being perfect because we're going to smooth it out later with a brush.
00:35Then you want to smudge the liner up underneath your lashes into your lash line
00:40and then tracing on the inner rim of your lashes on the bottom.
00:45Then you're going to take a super dense brush.
00:47It's really important that the bristles are stiff as you're going to need it to move the eyeliner around.
00:50You want to blend the eyeliner that you've applied to your lashes out.
00:58Concentrate most of the color towards your lash line and blend it out towards your crease
01:03until you get a nice, even base.
01:06Now, time for the next eye.
01:07Do the same thing on this eye as you did with the other.
01:10Again, it doesn't have to be perfect. You saw how good we made it.
01:19Now we're ready for the eyeshadow.
01:21I really like to use this double-ended Stila brush because I have the best of both worlds.
01:26This one's their number 30 brush.
01:28I take the stiff end.
01:30I'm picking up a little bit of the shadow.
01:34You're going to pack it in over where you put the liner on.
01:38You don't want to wipe it on because it will just fall and get you dirty under your eye.
01:43You flip the brush over to my favorite side.
01:46Pick up some more color on the fluffy end and blend that into your crease.
01:51And then smudge a little bit under the lash line.
01:56Ready for the next eye.
01:58Again, use the stiff end of the brush to pick up the color.
02:02You want to concentrate the color as close to the lash line as you can so most of the saturation
02:06is there.
02:08And then blend it out to your crease.
02:11Flip the brush over to the fluffy side.
02:13And again, blend it into your crease.
02:16Smudge a little bit underneath the lash line.
02:20And voila! I told you it was easy.
