00:05Hey, guys. It's Megan from Refinery29. I'm in the Beauty Test Lab today, and today we're
00:10going to be trying out these new stick-on eyeliners from a brand called Nail Rock. These
00:15are called Eye Rock Designer Liners. What they are are basically tape that has black
00:21liner printed on top of it. You stick them on your eyes, and it gives you the effect
00:27of having really thick liquid liner on. These are a good option for people who may not be
00:31that handy with liner, or if you just don't want to take the time to create some really
00:35elaborate designs. They have some cool ones, and you can try it out. What you're going
00:40to need handy are a pair of scissors because you are going to need to trim them to fit your
00:44eye shape. What you're going to do is I'm going to do this really long, crazy-looking one down
00:49here. What you do with it is you just peel it off. I kind of do this to loosen up
00:55the
00:55edges a bit so you can see where they are, and then you just take it and peel it off
01:01just
01:03like that. What I do is I hold it up to my lash line so I can kind of see
01:10where I'm going
01:12with it. I'll see that there's way too much extra here, so what I'm going to do is cut
01:18it down, probably right about in here. I'm going to cut it at a little bit of an angle,
01:25just like that. It is a little bit tricky because you have to have your eyelashes out
01:33of the way, so a good idea for this, you don't want any oil or things that are going to
01:36take
01:36some of the stickiness away, so make sure you don't have eye makeup on. You can apply
01:39the eye makeup after you put the liner on, so your mascara and all that stuff. I have a clean
01:44eye right now. What I'm going to do is get close to the line. I'm going to close my eye.
01:50It's easy to fit it close to your inner corner and then work your way out. I'm just pressing
01:58it up and down. I'm pressing it onto my eye to make it stick, not too hard because your
02:08eyes are very delicate. There you go. I've got my liner on. The key here is to not handle
02:15it too much because it loses its stickiness. The less you can touch it, the better. Also,
02:21it does feel a bit uncomfortable because it is tape, so be prepared for a tugging feeling
02:27when you blink. You get used to it after a while, but it is a little disconcerting in
02:31the start of the application process, but that's totally normal. I've got them both on now.
02:37You can see it looks just like liquid liner. That would mean in our final analysis in the
02:41test lab that the Nailrock, Irock designer liners are a pass, but I will add a disclaimer
02:47and say that I wouldn't use them for a full day makeup look because I just don't think
02:51they're going to stick and stay that long. I would recommend them for if you're going
02:56out for a night on the town or drinks or something like that. A couple of hours would be a
03:00better
03:00option, but overall they're pretty cool. They're pretty easy to use and they look really fun.
03:08That's why the한독 because the
03:14rest of the town is important
03:14to figure out what the collection
03:15looks like.
