00:02My name is Annie Georgia Greenberg, New York editor of Refinery29, and today I'm in downtown
00:06Manhattan with Sephora Pro, Sarah, who's going to be showing us how to add some color into our
00:11everyday makeup looks by pulling unsuspecting New Yorkers off the street and giving them a
00:16fresh new look that you could also do quickly and easily at home. Let's see how it works.
00:22We're with Madison, who's going to get a bold new look. This color that I'm using on you is a
00:26deep,
00:27dark, berry color, which is all over the runway. It looks so pretty on you. What I love about this
00:33eyeshadow is that it's super soft and shimmery, but still has that really great color, so it really
00:40helps to balance that with the bold, intense lip that we applied on you. All right, gorgeous.
00:48Joanna, I see you're wearing accents of purple today, but what's your favorite color to wear in your
00:52makeup? I think I stick with like grays and charcoal colors. So with that, we're kind of
00:57going with a look of more of like your smoky ombre, which is more adventurous and trend-driven.
01:03What's great about this look that it's super effortless and forgiving, so you don't have to
01:07spend a lot of time trying to perfect it. And you're really just selecting three different eyeshadows
01:12from dark to light to kind of create that gradation, that ombre effect. During the day,
01:16you can go lighter with your application. And then at night, you could just go back in and layer and
01:22really create that intensity. I'm going to take a metallic shade color and place it just in the
01:28center of the eye. Some extra drama and ombre effect. Yeah, I love it. I think it's cool and
01:34different, and it makes a pop for fall, so that's fun. This is Linda, our next makeover volunteer.
01:41So with this look here, it's focused more on your cheeks and lips, so we'll keep your eyes more natural.
01:46Using gloss for this look is great because it gives you just the right amount of color that we're
01:50looking for before we apply the blush. And this is a great tip because anytime you're really trying
01:54to just have that fresh wake-up look, it's really key to make sure that the cheek and lip color
01:59harmonize. The blush I selected works really well with the gloss that we applied because they both
02:04fall into the same color category. So we were able to track down Stephanie, who's going to try our next
02:11look. With your style, I definitely think you can rock out some brighter shades. I'm using a highly
02:16pigmented eyeshadow all over her eyelid. So to give a little bit more edge, I'm adding an intense liner
02:25right along the lower lashes. I love it. It's definitely intense, but it really works. Yeah,
02:29it looks really awesome. Thanks to Sarah's tips, we have a few easy ways to incorporate color into
02:34our everyday makeup looks. So now you can go forth and be bright.
