00:02Something that's well-designed, to me, means it's been thought through from start to finish.
00:07Good design takes into account how people really live.
00:10Today I'm going to meet with the co-founder of Away,
00:13a New York-based company that's bringing a tech-forward perspective to the travel space
00:17and helping people travel smarter.
00:21First and foremost, we're inspired by travel.
00:24We want people to travel more, whether it's a weekend upstate or some far-flung adventure.
00:29And we make luggage that helps people do that better.
00:33So what was the process when you thought about designing the Away suitcase?
00:36For a lot of people, travel is focused on the destination, where you're going,
00:40but we find a lot of inspiration in the crossover.
00:43People don't pay enough attention to the amount of time that you spend
00:46going from your house to the airport, from the airport onto the plane.
00:50And those are the little moments that we're really looking to improve.
00:53This is everyone's favorite feature back here.
00:56There are two USB ports, so you can charge more than one device.
00:59And this compression pad secures everything in there and also just kind of gets all the air out.
01:04In here, we have a built-in removable laundry bag,
01:07and it snaps off and you can just throw it in the wash.
01:09I really, really want one of these now.
01:13People are really seeking something innovative in the travel space
01:17that thinks and talks about travel the way they do.
01:19We have customers writing in all the time talking about how
01:22Away helps them pack better and travel better,
01:24and that's what really makes this so rewarding.
01:30Travel is everything.
01:31will happy to have you remember thatchef Bio Craig
01:31Okay.
