00:00Can't nothing hold me back.
00:01I'm like, oh girl, I'm flawless, ayyyyyy.
00:07Hi, I'm Sophie Simmons.
00:09And today we're talking about getting down.
00:12I don't know about you, but when I stay home all day
00:14looking at my phone, I feel terrible.
00:17When I sit around all day, I feel, ugh, meh, ugh.
00:24Just feel gross.
00:26It's so easy to get sucked into your couch.
00:28And I know it's comfortable and glorious,
00:30and you just want to sleep on it.
00:31But don't.
00:32Get up.
00:33Get moving.
00:34It's so important.
00:35Not only for your physical health, but for your mental health.
00:37When I'm feeling really down about my body,
00:40my roommate and I like to dance ridiculously,
00:42because that's the only way I know how to.
00:45According to the Journal of Behavioral Medicine,
00:47having poor body image directly connects to having poor health.
00:51It gives you endorphins, and it makes you feel good.
00:55My personal challenge for today is to throw myself
00:58into a private training session with Tracy at Body by Simone,
01:02and have my butt kicked.
01:03Five, six, here we go.
01:05Two, four, two, three, four.
01:06Working out doesn't have to be a chore,
01:08and it doesn't have to be about losing weight.
01:10It should just be about having fun and getting your body moving.
01:14So I just finished my Body by Simone class, and I feel so happy.
01:19These bodies were built to stretch and run and jump,
01:22and if we're not using that, we're just wasting our bodies.
01:26So get out there, get active, and hopefully one day I can touch my toes.
01:32One day I can touch my toes.
