00:00Thank you SAG-AFTRA for this award.
00:05Ah, you know there's a famous saying that I am, I am not who you think I am, you are
00:14who you think I am.
00:17And I think about that because people are always saying wow, you know, Annalise is an anti-hero and don't
00:26you worry she's not likable
00:28and don't you worry that she's not a mentor and I always think, why do I have to be a
00:34hero?
00:36Why do you have to like me?
00:39And why do I have to be a mentor?
00:41My job as an actor is just to create a human being to the best of my ability.
00:47Flawed, messy, maybe not always likable, maybe not cute.
00:52It is my job and I do it to the best of my ability and I get so much joy
00:57out of being an actor.
00:58I thank all my fellow actors on how to get away with murder.
01:03It is such a fabulous young cast.
01:05It has been the joy, pleasure of my life.
01:09Thank you so much.
