00:00Hello there, good morning.
00:02Some quite dense fog in places to start, so perhaps leave a little bit of extra time for
00:06your journey this morning if you're travelling around, and the foggy picture is set to continue
00:11as we creep our way closer towards Halloween.
00:14East Anglia for example, eastern areas of England could see quite a foggy start, also
00:19eastern areas of Wales, the Midlands, Lincolnshire and northeast England could see some slow
00:23to clear fog, but when it eventually does clear it should actually turn into quite a
00:28fine day with decent sunny spells around.
00:30A very different picture though towards the northwest, slightly breezier here and turning
00:35quite cloudy through the course of the day, potentially some spots of rain towards the
00:38Western Isles and some coasts of Northern Ireland a bit later.
00:42But for many areas it should be a fine dry end to the week and not feeling too bad where
00:46we do see any sunshine, highs reaching around 15 to 16 degrees Celsius.
00:52Now later into the evening we will see that fog return, especially across eastern areas
00:57of England quite early on into the evening, spreading its way eastwards and this fog likely
01:02to be a bit more widespread compared to what we saw first thing this morning.
01:06But towards the northwest this is where it will remain quite cloudy, quite breezy, further
01:10spells of rain across western and northern areas of Scotland, perhaps a few spots of rain
01:14towards Northern Ireland.
01:15So this is where it will stay that little bit milder, elsewhere though towns and cities
01:19in the mid to high single figures, perhaps a touch lower under any clear skies where we see
01:24that fog develop.
01:26So a chilly gloomy start to Saturday, once again some fog which could be quite slow to
01:32clear, clearing eventually gradually through the course of the morning and once again a
01:36very similar day to today where it should be quite fine by the afternoon with decent sunny
01:41intervals.
01:42But it's really the northwest still that has that lingering rain towards the Western Isles
01:46and some areas of Northern Ireland to finish off the day.
01:49So temperature is not changing too much here, but elsewhere there will be a touchdown in places
01:53between 12 to 14 degrees, perhaps a touch higher towards the southwest depending on how much
01:59sunshine we see.
02:00But where we do have any lingering fog that's where it's set to feel that little bit chillier.
02:05Now of course Saturday is Halloween so some of us may be heading out trick or treating later
02:10into the evening and it's going to be quite a soggy one for western areas of Scotland, parts
02:15of Northern Ireland, but southern areas of Scotland should remain mostly dry and much of England
02:19and Wales should be a dry fine evening, turning that little bit chillier though under any clear
02:24skies.
02:25And through the course of the evening once again we'll see a return of that fog across
02:28East Anglia, South East England, that's where it's probably going to filter through
02:31quite quickly through the course of Saturday.
02:34And once again under any clearer skies that is where it's going to be feeling fairly chilly
02:38overnight into Saturday.
02:40Now of course don't forget you can always join us here on YouTube if you want any further
02:44weather updates otherwise that's it from me.
