00:06I never really plan my sets. I just vibe off of what I feel energetically in the
00:13room on the dance floor. It's just this magic connection where I just like try
00:20and take the crowd on a journey or give that crowd the same exact feeling that I
00:27feel when I hear my favorite house music song you would never think that like
00:43being a DJ would be the best job for a working mom but somehow it is because
00:50I'm able to spend my entire day with my daughter I put her to bed I go
00:57DJ while you know she's sleeping I come back I get to feed her breakfast there's
01:02not a second I I miss with my child I am so lucky and blessed that I get to be
01:11a
01:11mom it's really given me a new purpose a new meaning in life it's been really
01:20beautiful and really a challenge I don't see my husband as often as most wives see
01:28their husbands yeah and it's gotten interesting because I because I have been
01:33a lot busier since I've had the baby all of us do it by planning carefully but what
01:39I think most importantly is she she does what she loves and everything around her
01:45makes her happy she's such an active person so you know I'm really kind of
01:50like a laid-back kind of guy and she's always on the go she's always full of
01:55energy always going fully in everything she does and that really inspires me
02:07I have a really busy lifestyle and yoga has inspired me in so many ways there's
02:13something really special about being able to ground myself no matter where I am
02:21meditating is like being able to recognize when something is coming up in
02:27your head and letting it go it's helped me navigate through life through airports
02:32and traveling and being in clubs and having hectic schedules it kind of helps
02:38me just like okay I always try and show people the parallels between the dance
02:48music community and the yoga community because if you think about it when people
02:52come to a nightclub they come to let loose regardless of size shape color
02:59ethnicity religion and they move their body and they press themselves and in a
03:05yoga studio you do the same you know you keep your eyes on your own mat you get to
03:11move you get to express yourself it's the same thing you don't you don't know
03:15anything about your neighbor but you're moving with them being a mom you are taking
03:22a child on a journey through life right and when you are a DJ or a musician you're
03:29taking people on a journey as well you're guiding them through life in a
03:35different way musically I feel like I when I'm in front of a crowd they are all my
03:40little babies and by the end by the end we let them go and then they you know you
03:45give them the tools that you need to be happy and then they can go off on their
03:50own
