00:15Anger, depression, sadness, frustration, a sense of helplessness and powerlessness.
00:25Folks feeling like I'm watching all this happen, but I can't do anything about it.
00:34Well, that moment has passed.
00:40This is the moment where we turn that anger into action.
00:46And in particular, Gen Z.
00:52Your generation is the largest population, demographically, of any population in America.
01:00Meaning, there are more Gen Z leaders, members, than there are even baby boomers.
01:11You, your generation, you were born in a world where you've only known about the climate crisis.
01:20You had to go through substantial periods of your education and socialization during a pandemic.
01:28You are entering a world where sometimes we want to make sure, and you're going to get
01:34it right here, that you're getting the education that will prepare you for sustainable employment
01:40in a world that is rapidly changing.
01:44It is estimated that young people in their 20s today will probably live to be 100 years old.
01:56Which means, which means that, God willing, you will live for at least another eight decades.
02:08Think about that.
02:10Think about that.
02:12And then, think about what you have an opportunity to do in five days to plant the seeds for what
02:22you want out of your life, what you want from your country, what you want in terms of the
02:28hopes and dreams that should be real and achievable.
02:34You have everything at stake, and you have a right to weigh in and tell people what you
02:41want.
02:42And that's what you are doing this election season.
02:46You have a right to have the best of what the world has to offer.
02:53You are here because you have earned it.
02:56You have worked hard.
02:58You have made your family and community proud by the very fact that you are here right now.
03:06And what I want for your life is that you always know that you deserve the best.
