00:01And today we're going to do the $30 makeup challenge based on a look that Gigi Hadid
00:05wore to an event.
00:07Very fall inspired.
00:08It's very vampy, very cute.
00:10Yeah, I like it.
00:10Let's get started.
00:25Alright, I'm going to start with my base.
00:26See, I'm going to start with my eyes.
00:28I usually start with my base, but since this is a very eye heavy look.
00:33That's very true.
00:34You don't want that fallout.
00:35It's like this pretty champagne-y color she has on the base of her eyes.
00:39So I'm going to start with that, which is the top base color.
00:43I'm actually using a mix of the crease and the line in my crease.
00:48Because hers is like this pretty ruddy reddish brown.
00:55And then I'm going to go back over with my base.
00:58All over the lid.
00:59I'm actually going to go in and use my contour powder on my crease.
01:04Because I'm not really getting that brown color that I want.
01:08See?
01:09Perfect.
01:10Alright, so I'm packing this champagne-y shade from the Wet n Wild palette onto my lid.
01:15I'm using my finger because I'm getting the most pigment that way.
01:19And she is wearing, it looks like a lot of eyeshadow.
01:22I think you could actually do the eye with like a contour palette.
01:28With a contour palette, for sure.
01:29Because it's like this glowy champagne on the eye, which is like your highlighter.
01:33So I'm going to take the matte brown shade, like kind of medium brown shade from my palette.
01:38And stick that in the crease outer corner of my eye.
01:40Just add some dimension.
01:42This color is a little bit cool for what Gigi's wearing.
01:45So I'm going to mix it a little bit with this orange, more bronze orange shade.
01:50Just to give it a little bit more warmth.
01:52It is shimmery though, and she's definitely wearing a matte shade in her crease.
01:56So I'm also going to put a little bit of my bronzer, which is a little bit more warm than
02:00the initial eyeshadow shade.
02:02But then in my crease, just to give it a little bit more of those orange tones that she's wearing.
02:06I can't even tell if she even is wearing it.
02:08Which is why I pulled a brown.
02:10Because I'm going to really tight line my eyes.
02:13And then I'm actually going to use the sponge tip, the sponge brush from my eyeshadow palette to kind of
02:18smudge it out.
02:19And make it look super casual.
02:22Smoky.
02:23And that's basically the eyes.
02:26She's wearing a lot more though, so we don't have to really build up this color.
02:29Now I'm going to go over with my concealer.
02:38I'm going to apply under my eye because I've got a ton of eyeshadow all out.
02:43I usually start with my base.
02:45But when I do an eye look.
02:50I usually do.
02:51I have to say, for like a $2 concealer, this does not have bad coverage.
02:57I cheated.
02:58Because I get my eyebrows tinted.
03:00Pro tip.
03:00Always tint your eyebrows so that you never have to fill them in.
03:03But if I hadn't, I would have used my brown eyeliner to fill in my brows.
03:07I'm not super happy with the way my eyes look.
03:10I'm not either.
03:11I feel like.
03:12Because I don't, there's not enough color.
03:14Yeah, me too.
03:15Like I like this palette, but it's more of a natural looking palette.
03:19Like her.
03:19Hers is like super glam.
03:21She's definitely wearing a lot of eyeshadow and like she definitely was wearing a primer underneath.
03:26It's very, very opaque.
03:28I don't know if I could actually accomplish it.
03:30Like I don't think it's ever going to get to where I want it to be.
03:33I could do it again.
03:34I would invest in an eyelid primer of some sort.
03:37Her eyelashes look a little clumpier.
03:39So I'm going to use like that excess dollop.
03:42You know that dollop that comes from the bottom of the mascara.
03:44Go for that clump.
03:45Instead of wiping it, I'm going to dab it down so that it sits at the top.
03:49And then just use that to help my lashes together.
03:52I usually wear two coats, which gives me kind of a little bit more volume.
03:56Um, one coat if it's like going to go super natural with it.
04:00Um, I'm probably going to do a straight coat today though because she has a lot of, she's got a
04:05lot of lash right now.
04:07She could even be wearing this dollop.
04:09I'm going to say she probably does.
04:11Okay, so I'm going to do, I'm going to let my lashes kind of sit for a while.
04:14I'm going to go into some bronzer as a kind of contour now.
04:16So I'm going into my coconut scented bronzer here with my brush.
04:19Ooh, okay, I think I'm getting somewhere with my eye.
04:22I really like this bronzer trickery.
04:24It's very pigmented.
04:26You look very pretty.
04:27Lipstick time.

04:31I think I did not choose the right shade.
04:33She's wearing like a vampy wine color.
04:36I think this is like similar but not, might not be exact.
04:39I'm going to use the little tip of the lipstick to kind of outline my lips.
04:43Get a good shape.
04:45I'm actually going to blot mine because it looks like hers is a little more, yeah.
04:51I'm done.

04:59This is actually something that I would wear.
