00:00Hi everyone, I'm Sam Sasso, beauty writer here at Refinery29, and today we're going
00:04to be recreating Selena Gomez's makeup look from her music video, Fetish.
00:07According to our makeup artist, she's practically wearing no makeup at all, and we love the
00:11look.
00:12But we figured we'd put our own twist on it, add in a few makeup products to make it super
00:15wearable for the everyday, so you can try it at home.
00:18Let's get started.
00:19So first I'm going to be using this detox serum to prep my skin.
00:23Next I'm going to be combining my liquid highlighter and my moisturizer to give a really smooth
00:27finish on my face, but a lit within glow, just like Selena's from the music video.
00:32Unlike Selena, I have a few acne scars on my face, so I want to cover them with a little
00:36bit of concealer.
00:40So now that your skin's all prepped, I suggest using a cream blush like this Chanticleye Cheek
00:43Jelly to add a little bit of warmth back to your complexion.
00:49Petra Collins directed the music video, and if you notice a lot of her work, it's super
00:54light, super glowy, really illuminated, so I figured another liquid highlighter would
00:58look even better on top of the look already.
01:00And this one is really lightweight and super fluid because it's primarily made with coconut
01:05oil and it looks great on every skin tone.
01:08So next up, again, I suggest even more warps to the face.
01:12Granted, Selena Gomez can go without makeup and anything like bronzer or blush, but I'm a
01:17bronzer kind of gal, and I just want to add a little bit of depth right into my cheekbones
01:21with this new Becca bronzer.
01:23While Selena's eyebrows look super natural in the video, they're probably filled in a
01:27little bit, and if you have sparser brows as well, you might want to take a pencil and
01:31a clear brow gel to just clean them up a little bit.
01:37So instead of using a black or brown liner, I'm going to be using a nude liner from Burberry
01:41to cancel out the redness and make my eyes look more weak.
01:44So since this is a natural look, I'm not going to be using a really dramatic mascara, and instead,
01:49I'll be using a conditioning mascara from Peter Lammas that still has your lashes looking
01:53really natural, but tinted.
01:56The most iconic part about this entire look are Selena's fake freckles, and from what we
02:01can tell, she actually doesn't have any natural ones at all, but her makeup artist added them
02:05in, which created a lot of controversy around the music video, but we love what it adds to
02:09the look.
02:11So now to set the freckles that I just put on my cheeks and my nose, I'll be using this
02:15setting powder from Lush to just make sure they don't go anywhere throughout the day.
02:22So to top off the whole look, I'll be using the actual lip gloss that Selena Gomez used
02:27in the music video, and it's this one by Marc Jacobs called French Tickler, and I'm not
02:32even surprised because it's already sold out, but it's this beautiful glitter peach gloss that
02:36gives a really natural look to the lips, but adds a lot of shine.
02:40This film is really good.
02:41So there you have it, that's the entire look from Selena Gomez's newest music video fetish,
02:46a super natural, easy look that you can try at home.
02:49Thank you so much for watching this episode of Lookalikes, we'll see you next time.
