00:14We are literally changing the stigma. We're changing this conversation. We are a part of
00:19taking responsibility for our individual selves. That's what I'm here to support.
00:36The target demographic for Spiked Spin is definitely people of color, and that is very personal
00:42to me because people of color are leading in all of the most preventable diseases. Number
00:48one for diabetes, number one for hypertension, and these are all things that have been an
00:53issue in minority communities for generations. I just feel like we're at a place now where
00:58we have enough information that that should not still be the trending trajectory of minority health.
01:16Some women love to be thick. Some women love to be thin. I don't care. You can be the skinniest
01:20person
01:20with the worst heart. You know, so it's like, I'm not here for you to get abs in 20 days.
01:28If you happen to change your body or get, you know, feel sexier or more confident because
01:32that happens naturally from the endorphins that are released, then that's just extra bonus work.
01:38I want people to understand that working out is good for your heart and then all these other
01:44things just are benefited long-term.
01:50Being an entrepreneur is definitely hard work. It's definitely one of the most challenging decisions
01:55that I've ever made in my life, but it's also one of the most rewarding. I think starting for me
02:01was
02:01not, um, it wasn't something that made me proud as an entrepreneur. For me continuing to go on the
02:08worst days when I had two students show up in my class or two riders or when, you know, no
02:15one
02:15registered for a class. Those are the days when you're like, do I need to keep going?
02:32Yes, it's a fitness class. Yes, it's cycling, but I want you to always leave feeling like, oh,
02:37wow, that was, that was extra. And that's also what I think that people should bring every time they
02:42go somewhere. Like, we're each individually spiked with something so special and so unique
02:48that only lives within us. So I feel like every time you go somewhere or every time you leave
02:53somewhere, everyone around you just say, oh, like what? That was special.
