00:04For the next three days, I'm saying goodbye to this red lip,
00:08and I'm trying dark, bold, black lipstick.
00:11My go-to lip color is nothing.
00:14I've always been more of a natural look kind of person.
00:17I'm not somebody who likes to wear lipstick
00:20or wear any kind of lip color, even lip glosses.
00:22I don't really understand the finishes.
00:24I don't really understand the last, the wear.
00:26I've worn black lipstick once in my life.
00:28It was for a Halloween costume, where I was a bat.
00:31What I'm most nervous about is just finding out
00:34if the lipstick works for me,
00:36and if it's going to match my skin tone,
00:38because I don't know if you guys noticed, but I'm really pale.
00:40I think it'll be fun to sort of create different looks with it,
00:44see what I can match my outfits with.
00:46I hope I can kind of make it look glamorous,
00:48and really own it, and enjoy it.

02:52So I was going to try to put some glam products on my face.

03:08And that's purely because I feel like I have to do a full makeup look.

03:55The negatives really outweigh the positives in this try this challenge.

05:16Turns out I can kind of do a red lip.
05:19This challenge was a success in a lot of ways.
05:23It put me out of my comfort zone.
05:24And I realized that like lipstick can actually work for me.
05:27And that was a really big deal.
05:29It's a really big deal.
05:30I think I would do it again.
05:31I definitely felt a little more sassy than my normal natural self,
05:35which was really fun.
05:36I thought that the lipstick wasn't going to stay and I was not surprised and disappointed.
05:41I was self-conscious that everyone was staring at me because my lipstick looks like a mess.
05:46I got to experiment a lot more with makeup than I usually would.
05:50Essentially, I had a really great time, but I will be staying to my usual daily routine.
