00:04How do I know what I want to do with my life? I feel like literally nobody knows what they
00:10want to do with their life. In high school, it's difficult because you're having to make
00:14all of these adult decisions about where you're gonna be in the next four years or what you want
00:20to be in the next ten years and the truth is that it's crazy that we have to do that.
00:27For me,
00:28I graduated with a dance degree and a journalism degree and I spent probably like one week where
00:34I went on auditions for dance companies which was horrific, like truly, and I was like wow this
00:41is not what I want to be doing. I love it, I love to dance and I still take dance
00:45classes today and
00:46it's like a big part of my life and but it's not my job. You have to give yourself an
00:53opportunity
00:54to explore what it is you're passionate about so whether you like are really into dance or you
00:58really like sports or you love to paint like you should just give it a go, try it, and see
01:05what
01:05happens. But I have friends who like studied philosophy in college and now they're musicians
01:10and I have friends who like studied dance in college and now they like work for a TV station
01:14so it's like it goes to show that like you can follow all different paths and that's so fine
01:20and honestly more fulfilling. The only thing you can do is focus on the present and what you're
01:26doing on a daily basis and take advantage of the opportunities that are in front of you.
