First pull all your hair into a low pony just above the nape or your neck. Tightly secure ponytail with a hair tie. Pull down on the ponytail to loosen and make a hole; then pull the ponytail upwards and loop through above the elastic. Twist the two separate areas inwards and secure the twists with bobby pins. Re-tighten the elastic.
