Begin with dry hair. Part hair to the side. Beginning at crown, begin braiding hair along the part, pulling in hair as you go. Continue braiding along the brow -- once the braid reaches the ear, tie off with a hair tie. Gently tug each loop of the braid to make it more full. Using a bobby pin, secure the braid behind the ear.
