Resurrection* is the second studio album by the British psychedelic rock band July, released in 2013. The album marked the band's return to recording after a massive 45-year hiatus, given that their iconic, self-titled debut had been released all the way back in 1968.
Rather than simply attempting to replicate the sound of the past, core members Tom Newman and Peter Cook crafted a more contemporary, progressive rock sound—strongly reminiscent of Pink Floyd—while still retaining significant hard rock and psychedelic elements.

(Some digital editions, such as the one on Apple Music, include additional bonus tracks, including alternative, extended, or demo versions of the songs.) The British psychedelic band July had a brief, intense run in the late 1960s. Following this initial phase, the group assumed they had been forgotten and consigned to history. However, July’s profile has steadily risen over the years; their album and—in particular—their single "My Clown" / "Dandelion Seeds" have seen their market value soar, inspired cover versions, and earned mentions by influential musicians.
