00:02I am the Queen, but you are mad.
00:07I hoped I might be employed here.
00:09I was intrigued by the idea of making a film that had three women as main protagonists.
00:16Can I ask you something? As long as you're aware that I have a gun.
00:19Well, it's three women equally, I think, telling their stories, in that it's all about love and power.
00:25We went for something dramatic. Do you like it?
00:26You look like a badger.
00:28What an outfit.
00:29Thank you. I thought it might be too much.
00:31They are all flawed and hilarious, but very complicated people.
00:37I thought you were on our side.
00:39I'm on my side. Always.
00:41The whole story is about the balance of power and who's in charge of whom.
00:46Lady Maubra has been unavoidably detained with business of state.
00:49I'm the business of state.
00:50Complexity was the number one thing that we wanted to achieve with the three characters.
00:57Even if they do horrible things, but still you can understand that.
01:00Look at me! How dare you! Close your eyes!
01:03You never really know quite where these people are going to go.
01:06But that's part of the fun, I think.
01:07You sent for Abigail to try and make me jealous, I think.
01:10I'm scared.
01:12I didn't want to have, like, the villain and, you know, the victim.
01:16We wanted all these things to shift and change and go from one to the other.
01:21I'm trying my best.
01:22All right, turn off the tears. Thank you. Have a pleasant evening.
01:24We all have our reasons for what we're doing.
01:28From Abigail's point of view, she's just trying to survive.
01:30From my point of view, she's stolen my position in court.
01:34It has been an honour and privilege.
01:35If you do not go, I will start kicking you and I will not stop.
01:39We're telling a story, an amazing story, of the three of us in our relationships.
01:43And it's done in a completely original way.
01:53Stop it!
01:54We are your servants, my queen.
