00:04sanctuary. I live in the Los Angeles area. We call it Miracle Mile. I live in a
00:102200 square foot home. It's four bedroom, three bath, and I have a guest house and
00:15I love it. In my neighborhood the homes go for about 1.3 to 3 million dollars
00:21and when I first moved into this place it was about $525,000 and because I'm a
00:27discount diva I got it down to about $485,000 and it's worth a lot more now.
00:32Believe it or not when I first came into this house I actually walked into this
00:36house. It was 18 years ago and a month and a half later I got into a horrific car
00:40accident and that's what placed me into the wheelchair. I live with my honey, my
00:44roommate Raisa, my warrior brother Lucas, and my dear friend Daniel. This is my
00:51dining room. The favorite part about my kitchen is the breakfast nook because
00:56that's where all the action happens. We do the parties, we do the chatting, all my
01:01friends hang out there. It's like the heart of the house. So I have this Balinese
01:05table in my breakfast nook and because I'm a discount diva there used to be a
01:10store in LA called Eastern Cowboy and you can get all the Balinese furniture
01:14there for dirt cheap and I think it was like $150 with all the chairs. I love to
01:20cook. That's one thing that I miss. I used to cook all the time so my next thing is to
01:25try to get the kitchen to be accessible where the stove can go up and down and
01:30then I could be able to cook for my friends and my honey. I have this wooden
01:33statue in my dining room and basically it's the goddess Kuang Ying and I
01:39actually purchased it in Thailand like 21 years ago. It reminds me of myself
01:44because she's paralyzed in the wood but yet she has the many arms so she could do
01:49everything and she represents love and compassion. If you really look at it when
01:54you stand back it's crooked so it's imperfect which I love imperfection. My
01:59household pet peeve you can ask my honey. Toilet seats down! The other thing is
02:06closets. All the closets have to be closed because again feng shui I'm like Nicole
02:11Kidman and the others. And this is my bedroom. This is where the goddess sleeps.
02:17My bedroom is actually a work in progress so I'm gonna have an artist friend that
02:22comes in. He's gonna paint all of the walls like I'm out in a forest and another
02:26friend's gonna build this tree like a cherry blossom tree going over the bed
02:31and then I have all these butterflies and things that will be like dangling so
02:35that you'll feel like you're sleeping outside in the forest. My favorite part of
02:38my bedroom is my goddess bed. The queen bed. Before I had my high bed I had a huge
02:46beyond California king bed that actually came all the way out but it was extremely
02:51low and all my caretakers were hurting their backs and then I switched for this
02:56queen-size queen bed. I have three bathrooms in my house and one of the
03:01first bathrooms that's in the front is one of my favorite and then there's this
03:05bathroom that I'm sitting in. Behind the door is a mermaid painting that I did with
03:10my BFF before he passed away and it's of a mermaid because they say that mermaids
03:15can't walk but they're still magical and of course there's my master bathroom which
03:19is in my room where I do all the magic of my makeup. Believe it or not I wear
03:24makeup every day. It's actually very healing for me because I lost my dexterity
03:30and my my fingers from the paralysis. Makeup is my way of painting again and I
03:35just enjoy the moment and I do it every single day.
03:40This is my office. This is where the magic happens. My office space is very
03:45important to me because this is where I spend a lot of my time. Behind me I have
03:50my vision board so I'm all about the law of attraction bringing forth what you
03:55believe and dream of into reality and so that is pretty much who I am. That is how
04:00I live my life. What do I not do for a living? I do everything. I'm a model, an
04:06actress, a TV producer, a TV host for World Poker Tour, I'm a life coach, a
04:12motivational speaker, I'm a board member for Global Mobility and I'm an
04:16ambassador for the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation and I'm just an
04:20overall rolling goddess. When I moved into this house all the walls were white
04:24and I do not like white walls. I was blessed enough to meet this wonderful
04:28artist and he helped me paint the house very much like an old castle. I used to
04:34have a chandelier that used to come down and the curtains that you see I pick like
04:39the royal velvety curtains because it kind of resembles like Renaissance and it's
04:44just it's a special room and it just has good energy. I love it. I have a little
04:49puppy dog. He's four years old and his name is Kenzo and I call him Baby Bear. We're
04:54very similar. I didn't know that I picked the disabled dog. He obviously picked me.
04:57He's hypoglycemic and he has seizures so we're exactly the same where we have to
05:03eat every four hours. My ultimate splurge when I bought the house was the
05:07fountain. I remember going into the store and looking at this fountain and I
05:11remember bargaining with the owner and saying uh-uh you better knock like a
05:15thousand or two thousand off of it. And so now it is sitting on my porch that I
05:20get to enjoy every Sundays with my little baby bear when I get my
05:23zen on. The water trinkles and it just takes me away and it's so important
05:28because in the hustle bustle and in my lifestyle I need that moment to just zen.
05:34When I moved into my house I purposely planned a housewarming party so I had to
05:40get this house together within a month and a half. So the first week painted all
05:45the walls. Second week unboxed everything. Third week found the curtains basically the
05:50sheets you throw on the windows and then the fourth week you just get
05:53everything together make it look like it's livable and then of course I had the
05:57party and then I had my accident. 18 years ago I was in a distractive driving
06:02incident that paralyzed me from the neck down and the doctor said I had three to
06:06five percent chance of moving or feeling anything. The major changes that happened
06:11to this house after my accident number one is in the front. My ex actually knocked the
06:18wall down and he matched the tiles and created a ramp to go all the way down and
06:23into the driveway. In the living room there's just a little lip that goes up
06:26into the dining room. I just threw down a metal ramp. A lot of my therapists that
06:30came in here during my injury in the beginning they came in they were like and you
06:35like bought this house as if you knew you were gonna be in a wheelchair because all
06:40the doors are extremely wide. I didn't have to change anything. In my bathroom I just ripped out the cabinet
06:46so I can roll underneath.
06:47To get under the sink and the shower I just built a little like ramp just so I can go
06:53into the shower and then that's it. It's now this year 2019 that I'm finally putting
07:00my house together the way that I want to. I'm truly ecstatic about just decorating
07:06my house the way I want to and putting my love, my energy, the essence and everything
07:12that I've been wanting to do for a very very long time. I am a positive freak so I
07:17have to surround myself with positive energy all the time. I'm very particular
07:20about the people that I invite to my house, who stays the night, who lives in
07:24my house. I only pick people that I trust and that are like family energy and so
07:30when people come here they always say like wow your house like feels really good. I
07:35just think it's very important because we're all frequency, we're energy and it's
07:39important to have your haven on a good frequency high vibe.
