00:25With a new chapter comes a new haircut,
00:27so I'm super excited for this transformation.
00:30I have never cut or dyed my hair before.
00:33When I was growing up, my mom wouldn't let me do anything to my hair.
00:36She always just wanted it to be natural and as long as possible.
00:40I think she kind of took ownership over my hair.
00:43She thinks that I'm very lucky to have long and thick hair,
00:46so she just never wanted me to do anything outrageous.

02:35So I feel like if we created like the sun-kissed version of your hair with the color,
02:40that would bounce off of the haircut really nicely.

04:10Now you've just got these sun-kissed highlights throughout your hair, we kind of created those
04:15by doing somewhat of a balayage and a foil over at the shampoo bowl when we had the gloss
04:21on you.
04:22We refined the tone to give it this more kind of like a lighter brown element.
04:27Let me go grab Karen, she'll come over, do the cut and we'll finish up your look.
04:35So we'll clean up the length, add some texture in there, do the bangs, do some internal layering
04:41too that way we can kind of like balance the density.

04:46I'm going to just smooth your ends out because we like it to be really straight.

04:57With a dry cut, we're able to refine the cut and like really get to the spots that need
05:04work better.
05:05So when it's dry, it's like everything is exactly how it's going to be.
