00:10Today we're going to recreate the romantic hair that we saw at the Badgley Mishka Spring 13 Show.
00:16Start with hair parted to the side.
00:18It can just be a little bit messy. It doesn't have to be perfect.
00:22Volume is really important for this style, so we're going to start by teasing under the hair.
00:27We don't want to tease on top so that it doesn't get frizzy.
00:31So we want to open the hair in the back into two sections and tease on the inside of these
00:38sections.
00:39This is going to add volume for the style and it's also going to give us a foundation to pin
00:45into.
00:46After you've teased the top section on the inside, you can clip it out of the way and tease the
00:54bottom.
00:55It's always easier to take away volume than it is to add, so you can go overboard with this.
01:00If your hair is really slippery, you can also add some hairspray during this step.
01:06If it's wavy, it probably doesn't need it.
01:08Now take down all the hair.
01:11Brush around the surface of the hair just to make it neat without taking out any of the volume.
01:16Now we're going to start pinning the hair up.
01:19Take sections about two inches.
01:23Loosely grasp them.
01:25Then we're just going to loop it in half and pin.
01:30Pin about halfway down the hair so that the ends are just hanging over.
01:38Take your next section and repeat.
01:42Depending on the length of your hair, you want enough of the ends hanging so that it will kind of
01:48overflow and cover your pinned sections.
01:51This gives that badgly effect.
01:55When you're finished pinning, you can just kind of tousle it around to make it loose and if the ends
02:01aren't hanging over enough, you can just kind of tug on them a little bit.
02:06Finish the look with hairspray.
02:09This will just make it more solid.
02:12And now we're going to add the flowers.
02:15We chose fresh flowers, but you can also use faux flowers.
02:20Just kind of tuck them between where the hair is pinned and your regular hair.
02:26Try and nestle them in so that they're a little stable.
02:31So here's a whimsical take on the faux bob and the flowers make it really beautiful.
