00:08Today we're going to show you how to recreate the pastel eye that we loved on the Peter Somme Spring
00:13Show.
00:14To start this look, we're going to create our own custom eyeshadow.
00:19So we're going to mix a powder shadow in a green color with a little clear lip gloss.
00:25This is going to give a really modern, sheer finish to the eye.
00:31After we've mixed the paste on our hand, we can dab it on with our fingers.
00:37Depending on your eye shape and where your crease falls on your eye,
00:40make sure you can see it when your eyes are open, but obviously it shouldn't go all the way up
00:46to your eyebrows.
00:47You can adjust the wash of the color by adding a little more lip gloss if you want it to
00:52be more sheer.
00:53Once the color is basically on there, you can just dab with a clean finger around the edge,
00:59just smoothing it out a little bit.
01:02But don't worry, it doesn't have to be perfect.
01:04To give the eye a little more dimension and just a little brightness,
01:09we're going to take a slightly lighter shade of shadow and dab it in the center of the eye towards
01:15the lashes,
01:16right above your pupil if you look straight into the mirror.
01:19For the final step, we're just going to add a bit of a monochromatic touch by adding green mascara to
01:25the tip of the eyelashes.
01:27We started with a coat of black mascara, so this is just a little extra to pump up the look.
01:34So we've seen a lot of color on the lips in past seasons.
