00:12My name is Mason Hess. I'm 20 years old. I'm a junior at North Central College studying
00:17economics and math and I'll be graduating spring 2028. Yes, it did help me in class and I did get
00:28academic credit. Just being able to take the concepts that I learned in class and connect
00:33them to the real world and real work. I would point to two things, confidence and a network.
00:45In terms of confidence, coming into the professional world with no experience and pretty much no network
00:52and nothing on my resume, getting that experience, getting something on my resume and building that
00:57network is extremely important. The Myers report was amazing for that. More than that, I think these
01:05people that I was able to meet, these professionals from all around the world, care about me as a human
01:10being and not just as another worker or as an employee. I would recommend this for other students.
01:19What I would ask those students is, do you want real experience in geopolitics and economics?
01:26do you want to build a network? And also, do you want to make some friends? If those answers are
01:31yes,
01:31then yes, I would recommend this.
