In this video, I’m exploring Brussels’ European Quarter and visiting the area around the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union. 🇪🇺
I take a look at the Parliament’s impressive buildings, the Hemicycle, the “Democracy in Action” visitor area, and some of the interesting sculptures and sights nearby. I also stop at the Council of the European Union, a place I had previously visited on Europe Day, when the EU institutions opened their doors to the public.
This is a travel video, not a political statement. Visiting these institutions doesn’t mean agreeing with every decision made by Europe’s leaders. I believe in peace, unity and the right of people to express their views peacefully. 🕊️
