00:00Hello again and Happy Halloween! Today I'm going to show you how to play Friday the 13th a card game.
00:06Obviously you need a standard deck of cards. And the first rule is to actually remove all of the face
00:13cards.
00:14So the kings, the queens, and the jacks. But we do want to leave in the two joker cards.
00:20After separating all the face cards, make sure you shuffle the deck really well.
00:24After the deck is shuffled, make six piles of seven cards. There shouldn't be any cards left.
00:31Each pile of cards represents one cabin. So you have six piles. Each pile represents a cabin.
00:37And each player gets two face cards. Those face cards represent counselors.
00:43Now if you draw a two or an ace, that kills one of your counselors. If both of your counselors
00:50are dead, you are out.
00:52Now the object of the game is to find the two joker cards. The first joker card you get is
00:59Mrs. Voorhees' head.
01:02Which needs to be found in the game before you can kill Jason.
01:06Now if you draw the first joker card, you can resurrect one of your counselors.
01:11If both of your counselors are still alive, you have to resurrect the other player.
01:16If all counselors are alive and when you find the first joker card, the Mrs. Voorhees' head, continue playing.
01:23If all other players' counselors are dead and you still have some remaining, you immediately win the game without finding
01:29Jason.
01:30Once you find the second joker card, that is Jason. And if you find Jason, you have killed him and
01:36you automatically win the game.
01:38Now the cool thing about this is if you want every player to have at least two face cards, it
01:44can accommodate up to six players.
01:46But yeah, it's a very simple search and kill game, which is great for parties and great for Halloween.
01:55Or great if you play it on Friday the 13th because it leaves a lot of room for flexibility while
02:01still being fair and easy to play.
02:03I'll obviously post all the standard rules down below in the description.
02:07If you have any questions, please let me know.
02:09I also made a digital version that you can play in a web browser if you want to mess around
02:14with it.
02:15Until next time, have a great one.
