A political war of words has erupted in Pulivendula following incidents of violence and allegations of voter intimidation. YSRCP leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met and consoled India Today reporter Abdul Basheer and camera person Vijay after they were allegedly attacked near polling booths. Jagan blamed the TDP for orchestrating attacks against the media team. In response, the TDP levelled counter-allegations against the YSRCP, accusing the party of premeditating violence over three days by mobilising individuals with stones and sticks to target political opponents. A speaker highlighted widespread voter disruption, claiming voters and polling agents were prevented from entering polling stations across multiple constituencies, including Pulivendula and Kuppam.
